  1. Not into this at all. I just don't get a kick out of seeing any movie in 3D, to me it's just really pointless. And yes...given a choice, if a movie is offered in 2D or 3D in the same theater I always pick the 2D version. And I'd hardly call 3D tv's "penetrating" any market. There are over 300 million people in the US, 50k is barely a small chunk.
  2. Try Half.com, you won't get it new though. Sealed New copies are $99 and up, but like new used is $18 plus shipping. No idea why this is so expensive anymore, going to have to check some local stores and see if I can get some extra copies =)
  3. My friends Mom gave me two old Tonka trucks to find out what they might be worth, but knowing absolutely nothing about them, and finding zilch on the net, I figured I'd try asking here. The one is a Tonka Trencher, no id# other than an imprint of "Pat Pend" on the scoop's arm, and it says "Mound, Minn" on the Tonka logo. The second one is a Tonka Shovel Truck. It has 52900 pressed on the bottom, and has rx-101 on the tires. One site says it's from 76-77, but no other info on it. And when I search those numbers I come up with a forklift, not a shovel truck. Any info would be appreciated....
  4. Same here, I can't stand the movie figures. They're CRAPTASTIC!!! @loll@
  5. I'm hoping all the figures in this line are deluxes, voyagers are just too much money, and with a limited line I'd hope they all came out in the same size class.
  6. Kinda creepy that they have human flesh colored arms & legs. Yech!!!
  7. I'd really love to get this set, but at that price it's not something I could ever really afford.
  8. QFE...He's one of the reasons I'll never see any of the new Transformers movies...he's the main reason I didn't see the last Indy movie...if he's in any future Indy movies he'll be the reason I won't see those as well. Can't stand the bugger.
  9. ROFL...Bay couldn't pay me enough to go see this in any format =p
  10. Really, really gotta agree with you. I absolutely hated the designs for the first movie, I hate the designs for this second movie. The bots are really too far out there from what they were, looking nothing at all like the transformers everyone already knows. And seeing people raving about these pieces of garbage just drives me nuts. It's like if they dropped a generic transforming bootleg robo toy into a blender, chopped it up, pooped on it, painted it silver, then packaged it under the TF name and people are saying it's the best new thing since sliced bread. I'll be happy once this crap-o line goes away, the movie fades away, Michael Bay fades away, animated fades away, and they finally start bringing new classics/universe out again. It's really going to be bleak TF wise till then. No reason to even go into the toy section anymore. And yes, when dreamwave went away so did my TF comic collecting as well.
  11. Going to check it out tomorrow, but I highly doubt these are on clearence at my local target. Was there Friday and they had just filled a front endcap with these. They had never been stocked before there, so for them to just get them in and then immediatly clearence them at $4.99 seems unlikely.
  12. The movie bots do nothing at all for me. I wasn't impressed at all with the first movie or it's toyline, and this second run is just as bad or worse. I bought none of the first movies toys, and have zero plans of even looking at them when they arrive instore this time around. I have nothing TF wise to buy instore till they resume classics/universe, so this is gonna suck for quite some time.
  13. Dunno....to me it just looks like a bunch of wrecked vehicles smushed together with some glowing green goo in a humanoid form. Definately not to my liking. But then I hated every bot mode in the last film, so it's no big shock that I don't like anything so far from the new movie.
  14. Actually saw Dinobot and Smokescreen in my local target today. Didn't get them though, not a BW fan and Smokescreen just looked awful, but they were there. So apparently they are out in some places.
