  1. i never win anything *tries reverse psychology*
  2. ahhh...bat, my faaaaavorite *drools*
  3. holy crap, i didn't even notice the extra peg haha. finally, i can make these guys stand up right. hmm...seems only the joes got the extra peg hole. cc didn't have an extra
  4. got mine too. only complaint i have is trying to get r&r to hold his gun. i thought cc would look stupid with the hips, but it looks perfectly normal in-hand. this line is just awesome
  5. ugh. hasbro, please stick to the '82-'87 years @grumpy@
  6. well, it couldn't be worse than bright white in place of shiny foil haha. man, these things would have been perfect if produced on the old style cards
  7. The 25th card art is bad-ass, so much so that I bought doubles to keep mint. Only problem is...it flakes off. I got my wave 4 case and half of 'em are missing bits of the silvery part. I'm kind of anal about stuff like that and it drives me nuts. I was wondering if a silver paint pen could fill in the big gashes. Anybody try something like that?
  8. There was a thread before, but I couldn't find again. I had some protecto cases that worked, but too expensive. I've heard of star cases, but do they work? What are some other plastic cases that work and a decent place to buy them?
  9. i spent like 10 minutes trying to figure out who "atlas" was @smilepunch@
  10. another problem is the inconsistent changes made to the art. the officer has a red emblem, but the figure is silver. they show him with an ak, but no ak with the figure
  11. wow, i finally saw some of wave 1 actually on the pegs. snake eyes and storm shadow. so they ARE real and not made up.
  12. the only 25th joes i've ever seen on the shelves have been 2 5-packs. yes, 2 @grumpy@
  13. oh, he's a comic character? i don't follow those at all. just looks like an odd combination of colors, especially for a soldier @smilepunch@
  14. yeah, i ordered back in early july and haven't received anything. i have that loot thing on...wonder if that's it
  15. that fruity stalker camo screams "come kill me first." hasbro makes some truly bizarre decisions
  16. the guy wrote me back and said he might offer recard kits on ebay in the future. i noticed that he had to relist his auctions because people thought they were the real thing @smilepunch@
  17. i sent a message asking where he got the parts and he replied that he makes it. trying to see if he would sell me the parts to make my own. since i'll never be able to afford the real stuff, would be kind of fun to have the next best thing
  18. i saw a few ebay auctions with vintage joes sealed in new custom cards with new bubbles. how are they made? example
  19. i can't stand running around looking for stuff, so i pre-ordered with bbts. i liked that they offer a collector grade so that you can keep moc if you want. got my stuff several weeks ago and it's flawless.
  20. i just buy mine online. may cost a bit more, but i don't have to run all over to find stuff and they aren't beat all to hell
  21. i just bought some protecto pak cases that were recommended on here from another thread. they worked great for me
  22. when i was a kid, i always wished that joes came with stands. now they do, but they put the pegs too far back and you have to stand them at weird angles to get them to stand up. half the time they just fall off @grumpy@
  23. definitely nostalgia. i really like the old-school packaging. i'm buying 2 of everything just to keep 1 on the card
