  1. Wow! How did I miss this thread?!?! Great work! Your work is essentially "retro"!!
  2. Cool. The first sighting was in a Target for once...not Walmart. That's interesting. I wonder if the distribution will change a little?
  3. Those look rather nice. I've been spoiled by minimates lately, but it's good to see some Kubricks.
  4. I'm really digging Lady Deathstrike! The new hands are a nice detail. I like them all mostly. I wonder if Mr. Fantastic will come with his long arm in the TRU 10-pack? And I wonder how the Torch's flames will look on Ghost Rider?
  5. Too bad. I never ordered from them, but I keep hearing good things. It sucks that another TF resource is disappearing.
  6. Nice set, man! They all look great, as you'd expect them too. Do you keep checking the carded figures to make sure they don't bend due to gravity?
  7. Those would be cool. I still have the old GI Joe SF figs somewhere. It'd be nice to have a Chun Li with hip articulation....the Joe version was T-crotched.
  8. He is sweet! I think the holes are for energon weapons. I honestly can't say I tried them, but it stands to reason. I love the propeller gimmick!
  9. That's some sweet work! Maybe the next wave will have Mad Max's car, Christine and the Monkee-mobile!
  10. Nice! The pink one looks great with that paint pattern and kinda reminds me of an evil Cardcaptor Sakura. The right-most one has a cyborg Wolfwood vibe going on. I heard that could be the Arcoyear leader. The other also look great! The Masterforce is so screwed!
  11. Great story!! You both win in that situation. You get to check out some toys without buying one first, while the kid gets a cool adult who appreciates his toys.
  12. I really like Transmetal Primal. He was a good mega-sized toy with blue chrome!! I love blue chrome! His bot mode was really nice since he had no real ugly kibble to speak of and decent articulation. OpOP never did anythibng for me. He's cool and big, but I dunno....
  13. Ditto. You gotta love the Cyberjets. The paint schemes seem to be metallic looking too.
  14. Sweet! I hope we land the Material Force figures here too! Not only will they help fill in some of my collection blanks, but they could double as art-figures!!!
  15. I agree. I thought the new series ruined/toyed-with some of the surviving characters from BW, but overall it did have a solid storyline. The toys were pretty good. It was a basics-sized fans dream really.
  16. That's scary!! I thought the same thing!!! @loll@ They all look amazing really. I especially like Prime, the green jet, the blue sub/boat and Starscream!! I am so screwed with money!!!! @smilepunch@
  17. Good buy. He is a good figure. The only and insignificant faults I found with him is the spoiler-gun (but don't use the spoiler) and the kinda limited shoulder articulation....but who cares!!! He's eye candy! My suggestions for other purchases would be Megatron (big US version or smaller TRU exclusive), Sharkticon, Shockblast, Rodimus and Prowl. Ironhide is worth $10 easy. His botmode his really nice.
  18. Nice job. I'd easily buy a red Prowl or MegaZarak-esque Skorponok.
  19. The repaints are odd. The Treadshot version at least is a Decepticon for a change and has the D-logo carved into his hood. The Oil Slick version made no sense since both toys from that 2-pack were recently released anyway. I think it was a quick slap-together exclusive for Kmart.
  20. I like the red, but I'll buy what Hasbro sends me!
  21. Nice display! They all look great together! Each having their own space really spotlights them!
  22. I'll probably skip AlphaQ. I wonder if he'll be made of the bendy plastic? 'Cause that'll be a real pain down the line.
  23. They do look like good figures. I got Catwoman, Batman/girl, Devilman/Silene, and the Machine Force, but I've been to busy to open any and really appreciate them. They look great though!! Catwoman is very slick looking. I'm looking forward to the BioMachines since I like the squared off bulky look of the figures.
