  1. Cool. Universe is turning into some crazy story with folks from all over. It's kinda like the stroies we'd play as kids with toys from different lines mixing it up...but this is official!
  2. I'll keep that in mind. I'll know by 1:30 today.
  3. Amen, brother. Amen. (You'd never escape alive after dropping that bomb in the Transformer forum, you know...) Goo point. Quanto Zero-One, eh? Anyone have a logo image from the cover? This'll help me in asking around.
  4. IF anything...take pictures!!!
  5. I like the current style with a few characters here and there, and little clues and elements from other stories occurring. With this way, we could feasibly have a second G1 series too, with the occassional crossover with each other....like X-men, but characters wouldn't be set to one book only.
  6. cool shops but prices that will rape your wallet and not call it the next day. But if that sounds fun, try looking around Elizabeth Street, just north of Canal Street near a police station.
  7. Boo! Too much of a toy I can't find yet! Boo! @smilepunch@ Maybe this will bode well for my lunch TRU trip.
  8. There's always the Jusco Department store. They tend to get various exclusives, aside from TFs. There's bound to be some comic shosp or whatever the equivalent is other there too.
  9. Where was he shipping from? Orange county...the seller is pretty big, the name is a-toy4u....ya mighta seen somethin from them. They have 12853 feedbadck, 99,8 %, which is why i think i should just stick it out...for a little while at least. Yeah! Aren't they always selling Korean Microman toys? I've debated buying from them a few times.
  10. I've only watched the first half or season. Not bad. I picked up cheap a while ago a series called Photon: The Idiot Adventures. It's pretty cool. About 3 hours long and plenty of fanservice, but it's really funny too. I recommend it.
  11. Let's see.... TRU in Times Square - It's cool as a tourist thing, but nothing new really there toywise. ImageAnime on 30th between 7th and 6th Ave - Cool little shop. Check their website to see what they got. They have a nice Tf display up front.....but it's near MSG, so it could be crowded down there with Republicans. Toy Tokyo on 2nd Ave near St. Marks Place - Very cool shop with tons of stuff, especially urban vinyl and starwars. some TFs. Great place just to see things. again check the website. KidRobot in Soho - Cool for Kubricks and vinyl. The website has directions.
  12. Case closed looks interesting, but I never remember to tape it. Currently, I've been following Wolf's Rain and Gundam Seed on CN. So awesome that they're free!!! I'm watching RahXephon on DVD currently, and I have a few whole series and movies lined up after that. I watched Go Nagai's Black Lion 2 weeks ago. Eh. It's goofy fun violence, but that's it. The opening is cool with ninjas and machineguns and robots and stuff during the era of Nobunaga, but they don't really explain why. I heard there's a manga, but it's not priority.
  13. Oh, well. Maybe one day. Have you been watching Wolf's Rain? Great show. But I just got the soundtrack, which is also available with the LE verison of Vol 1....it rocks!!! It's Yoko Kanno, of course.
  14. Got me. Are there any RahXephon toys?
  15. Cool. I gotta start haunting the nearby import bookshop. There's usually a 2 week delay ebtween here and there, but first I gotta see if they carry Quanto. What is Quanto magazine?
  16. I may nab Wolf's Rain Volume 1. I've been watching it on CN, but I LOVE the show. It's done by Bones, and anyhting they do I love...like Cowboy Bebop and RahXephon.
  17. Yep, our BB has it for $15.99. Can't really pass that up, can you? Seems kinda redundant to me. It would make a great Christmas present though. I actually already bought the movie, Blue Gender: The Warrior for $13.50. It'll try to compress the entire series into an hour and a half, but I heard there's a different ending. I'll hit another BB later to see if there's any other must buys.
  18. Good thing you spelled it with a "c". Wouldn't want Marvel's lawyers sniffing at your door. Did you pick up the Evangelion Platinum V1, btw? I'm curious how "improved" it is. I thought of that guy too. Maybe instead of Grim- or Death-lock, I'll call him Grumpy-lock! Yeah, that's the ticket! I haven't gotten it....yet? But I've read it's looks wonderful. Now whould be the week to get it too. Best Buy has 20% off all anime, so after savings, it's like $15.99...I think. Maybe less?
  19. The new colors do a lot for the fig. Better than the original, IMO. Definitely. He's so red! Plus, it's different from the US Doomlock repaint we're getting. I'm gonna call him Deathlock or, dare I say, Grimlock? The Energon weaponry is the same ugly yellow as Ravage's.
  20. Maybe I'll find something soon one day.... But I bought that Superlink Cruellock rpaint yesterday though. Very sweet.
  21. I'd love a reissue of the Omnibots, but they're decently priced on ebay and quite numerous.
