No problem. Yeah, the proportions are slightly off but he's based off of Civil War. You may have trouble finding a Sagat for cheap, he goes for alot now days.

Can't believe i spent the time disassembling, waiting for dye, and then actually dyeing the figure just to have the plastic reject pretty much all pigment. i basically ended up with gray. i can still work with this, just a big let down is all. i assumed that white plastic would take dye really easily, but no such luck. worst part of it is that both legs now have a hairline crack along the top part of the seam where the plastic meets from the heat i used while dyeing i'm assuming. now i either need to sculpt over the crack or get new legs...again. minor setback, i was just really hoping for a nice raw sienna color. oh well, now i know-lesson learned.

The finished Sinestro looks great. I should really get back to reading GL (havent since the relaunch).

 

Dyeing is lots of messy fun, does suck when you get parts that don't dye properly. Even worse when you get the warping.

I've kind of forgotten about GL after the relaunch so I plan to dl a few issues and see how it goes. Apparently, he's a indigo lantern at the moment.

 

Yeah, it is fun but never know how the parts will take the dye. It's one of the first times I've heard it react in the way it did.

Alright, here's some bases I threw together for:

 

Magik, Dr. Nemesis, Rogue, and Armor:

Dr. Nemesis is pretty much a given, but that Rogue base looks perfect too. Nice meshing of parts.

Yeah, after seeing Raybot's it's the only way to go.

 

I chose those parts for her since the hip balls wouldn't matter/show and the boot tops would be where the lower thigh swivel is. Also the body is slightly thicker than the hasbro female mold and I wanted some variety. Then I wanted beefier arms for her over Donna Troy's arms so I used the SS WW ones and her boots. Would've gone with bigger fists but don't have any. And the Black Widow head with new hair is one of the better heads I've seen for her.

Any reason why all of Daken's claws are silver? I only recall him having his wrist claw being covered in Adamantium and I believe that that one was ripped out by the time he joined the DarkXmen team...

I've seen it colored all black and a few times silver so I just went with silver. I plan on having a street clothes one and that one will have black claws.

Love the collection. Been watching it grow for years. First time commenting:

 

Too much of a comic nerd not to say anything. Dark_Phoenix is right. He never had all silver claws or black claws. He, for a little while, had a silver claw in his wrist, but it got taken out before Dark X-men. They are all bone claws. Looks great though!

I have some issues with all black and all silver. I ended up asking to have them painted a charcoal gray based off the Dark X-Men statue set. Since my Mimic is based off that statue set as well.

Got finished pictures for X-23, and the alternate head that ibmm-t casted from the Wolverine that dustin made for him years ago. I forgot to add that Logan's fins on his masked head will get modded since they're angled differently on the X-Force costume.
