Okay, fixed my problem with photobucket by doing a cheap trial and got a another year free.

Sphinx & Fixit were gifts, while the rest were ones stef was getting rid off so I'm trading a few figs for.

 

 

I got was able to get the Hulk/Valkyrie set, variant Black Widow/Winter Soldier set, variant Deadpool/Warpath set, and a loose Warpath. Just need the rest.

 

Gotta get Valkyrie fixed and I'll put her with my Asgardians while the custom that Dustin is doing will be thicker/taller will be with She-Hulk & Thundra.

I got a last update on Mongul Jr. from dustin, I'm blown away. This is hands down his best custom.

Info:

 

After a lot of trial and error with the constructs and the non-construct rings, I finally found a solution. I took out the gold metal pieces in the middle of the rings. All the accessories now fit snugly into holes in the rings. The depth of the pegs for the constructs is about 1/8" and the non-construct ring symbols have slightly shorter pegs.

 

I discovered a lucite-like material at the hobby shop and it turned out to be the solution to making some rad constructs. The plastic is really durable so you won't need to worry about the pegs breaking off in his knuckles. It's easy to work with, takes paint well and, best of all, no air bubbles. The rings at the bottom of the constructs are pieces of DVD cover with holes drilled in them, which I then punched out with a hole punch and glued in place around the pegs.

 

The non-construct rings are brass studs from the leather-working section of the craft store. I primed them and painted them gold, then hand-painted the insignias in white and topcoated them with clear yellow to make it look like they're glowing.

 

The circular saw construct really spins. The shotgun construct is from one of those active camo Metal Gear PVCs.

 

Apart from a close look to make sure the paint is perfect, the figure looks done to me. I'll make a couple extra non-construct rings in case they get lost. I'd also be down with making two more constructs so he'll have one for each ring.

 

It's been a lot of fun, and as is sometimes the case it takes a very, very long time to figure out how to make something and then not that long to actually make it.

 

Once he's on his way, I'm stoked to clean up and paint Ray's Iron Man.

I love that Hulk he's perfect just perfect the colors the hands everything. one question are you going to make a red or green version?
