  4. Mattel today released updated images for the 2020 Power-Con Exclusive MOTU Origins "Lords of Power" 5-Pack. These are expected to start shipping out to folks who pre-ordered them at the con in a couple of weeks. The set includes Origins figures of He-Man, Skeletor, Man-At-Arms, Mer-Man and Beast-Man. These figures are based on early MOTU prototypes from the original toy line.
  5. Medicom today during a virtual event revealed 5 new UDF (Ultra Detail Figure) The Child (Grogu) figure that they will be releasing. The UDF line of figures stand around 3" tall and cost around $15 each.

  7. Last month Medicom teased that they would be releasing a 6" MAFEX figure based on the Homelander character from the Amazon series The Boys. Today during a virtual event they released a full look at the figure. No specific details or a look at any of the accessories have been released but that info should be coming soon. Check out the new images of the figure below.

Following the news from this morning about a new DC Multiverse Batman Beyond figure, Several overseas etailers have started soliciting what they call a DC Multiverse 7" Hellbat Lunar New Year Edition figure from McFarlane Toys. Images for this one have yet to surface online, so we really don't know how the figure will differ from the previous Hellbat McFarlane released, or why it's being refereed to as the "Lunar New Year" edition. Stay-tuned for more details on this as they become available.
  10. DC Comics hero Plastic Man will now be appearing as Plastic Woman... Sources have informed The Hollywood Reporter that writer Cat Vasko has been hired to work on the feature presentation. However, with Vasko's hiring, the project being in the earliest stages of development, will now be a female-led vehicle. It is unclear if that means a title change or not. Two years ago, Amanda Idoko was hired to pen the script for what was meant to be a comedic action-adventure based on the character, who was created in 1940s. DC-based film production president Walter Hamada and Chantal Nong are overseeing for the studio.

  13. they are and arent though. storm figs are so much buffer than the mcfarlane figs. similiar height scaling but way different scale on the body proportions.
  14. Sources within Sony Pictures have informed Deadline that Oscar Isaac is attached to play Solid Snake in the Jordan Vogt-Roberts long awaited Metal Gear Solid adaptation. The film is based on the Metal Gear Solid video game created by Hideo Kojima and published by Konami. The script is written by Derek Connolly with Avi Arad producing and Peter Kang executive producing for the studio. Source: Deadline
  15. Remember that time Optimus Prime was a Tow Truck? Neither do I, but the Transformers Armada "Bendy" Prime (right) probably should have been one. In fact, a couple of KO Tow Trucks have been made from the Armada and Movie figures (center), which really work pretty well.   16. Ava DuVernay and former 'Arrow' writer and executive producer Jill Blankenship are working with The CW in developing a series based on the DC Comics character Naomi. DuVernay and Blankenship are attached to write and executive produce the series. The character debuted in her own standalone comic book series in 2019, which was co-written by Brian Michael Bendis and David F. Walker. It was illustrated by Jamal Campbell. Source: Variety
