If it's a Club Grayskull exclusive then it's almost certainly exclusive to Mattel Creations I imagine.

I just wonder if this is 2026 movie-based or one of the New Eternia hangovers like Scare Glow.

The man-bun is a choice... 😁

Looks nice, very New Eternia and all - will certainly look good opposite Scare Glow. Interesting choice of scale comparison - that's an Origins Despara, right? Weird messaging from Mattel, mixing scales and lines and focus...

The figure looks very cool but I was about to mention the other two figures in the cardback  were in origins scale by Mattel SO not sure why they did that unless they are releasing them in this scale. 😀☕💡👍

Is the Chronicles line just rebranded Masterverse, or is this a whole new slightly different line at a slightly different scale?

It's a true 6-inch line from all things being put out so far.  Will fit in with Marvel Legends and such which is something people apparently wanted.  I'm not one of them but that's how it seems.

I sort of wonder if Masterverse/MOTU got pushed into a 6 inch line indirectly.  Mattel probably wants their DC line to scale with Legends because they think that will boost sales (and force McFarlane people to rebuy figures).  And Mattel probably wants its MOTU figures to scale with their DC figures.  So now MOTU will be Marvel Legends in scale.

I'm annoyed too.  But, unlike Masterverse, I'm not buying Chronicles until I see decent versions of A-list characters in their classic outfits.

IF I pick up anything Chronicles......which its looking like I'm not.  It would be cherry picking.  I have an almost complete Classics collection minus some Super7 stuff, I got Revelations and Revolutions looks from Masterverse.  I don't know if I have it in me to collect another MOTU line again.

My problem is going to be Sorceress and Teela, especially the former.  No Classics, Super7, or Masterverse Sorceress is very good.  The Super7 Filmation Sorceress should have been great, but it isn't.  And Teela just kept getting hosed by Masterverse.  So if Chronicles puts out a good, classic-inspired Sorceress or a Teela with a decent head sculpt, I can't see resisting.

I could also be sucked in by She-Ra. I'm a sucker for She-Ra figures, even when they aren't very good (Masterverse produced two pretty mediocre versions) or in the scale I collect (Origins, Mondo, the Barbie doll).

Classics Teela is one of my fav figures I own.  I probably will be a Chronicles Teela if she looks good though.

A lot of Classics female figures have kind of a flat, similar-looking face.  They aren't always bad -- and I'm glad I got some kind of Entrapta and Glimmer since it seems they will never touch those characters again. Classics Teela is the best Teela so far (maybe the Super7 Ultimate reissue version is better).  But modern head sculpting has come a long way.

I just call that 4H face.

I wouldn't be surprised if they finally looked at the market and saw that 6-inch is the more prevalent scale for collector figures and decided that given they were restarting DC and relaunching MOTU with the movie, they might as well jump onto that bandwagon rather than pushing ahead with the 'Masters are always a bigger scale than everything else because they're more heroic' approach they always have previously. Plus, it saves them about an inch worth of plastic each time, which these days is probably a heck of a savings for them in terms of raw materials!

I wonder if they regret making WWE in that 'bigger than 6-inch' scale now? They'd face a full-on revolt if they tried to restart that line after all these years at a different scale.
