According to the BBC, two episodes from The Daleks’ Master Plan, a 12-part series from the First Doctor’s era, have been found in a collector’s stash of vintage films. During the early days of Doctor Who the BBC did not do the best job of archiving the series. So there are episodes from the First and Second Doctor era that are mostly lost to time.

Now, thanks to this discovery, the first and third installment of The Daleks’ Master Plan, “The Nightmare Begins” and “Devil’s Planet” will be restored by the BBC and brought to iPlayer in April for UK fans to enjoy. North Americans will have to wait for them to land on Britbox (or use VPN access).
