Shown below is the new Mythic Legions Legendary Warrior figure from the Four Horsemen Studios, which will be available at conventions throughout 2026. Stay tuned for more details!

2026 is going to be LEGENDARY as Four Horsemen Studios brings the Legendary Warrior figure to all our live events for this year!

Last year we surprised Legionairres with our “Touring Figure”, the Legendary Barbarian. This year we are continuing that tradition of having a special release figure at all shows with the Barbarian’s female counterpart - the Legendary Warrior!

This figure will debut at the @zoloconexpo event. That show runs from February 27-March 1 in King of Prussia, PA. Similar to last year’s touring figure, we will have a limited amount of these at Zolocon and at all other official 4H live events throughout the year. There WILL be strict purchase limits in effect at the shows to ensure as many show attendees as possible can secure this figure and we do expect to sell out of this figure at all events. Quantities are limited for each show, and once they are sold out, they are gone for that event - so getting to our table early will definitely help!

You can see a list of our events for 2026 at SourceHorsemen.com/events

For those who cannot make it out to see us at a show, we have set aside half the run of this figure to be sold online at StoreHorsemen at the end of the year, after all of our 2025 events are complete.

We hope to see you out at our live events for 2026 and we look forward to an absolutely LEGENDARY 2026!

And for those wondering if we will see the original Legendary Barbarian again in the future - let’s just say that his story is definitely not over! Stay tuned…

The Four Horsemen have provided an update about the recently revealed Four Horsemen Studios Mythic Legions Legendary Warrior Figure that they have decided to remove the two heads featuring red/orange hair from the Legendary Warrior figure due too "certain presentation elements created an unintended similarity to an existing fantasy character."

"Regarding the "2026 Touring Figure", the Legendary Warrior - this figure was designed as a generic female barbarian warrior for the Realm of Mythoss, and we packaged her with various hair colors so figure fans could display this figure how they saw fit. After getting this figure in hand and posting the initial promotional images, we determined that certain presentation elements created an unintended similarity to an existing fantasy character.

To avoid unintended overlap with that existing fantasy character and out of respect for others' copyrights, we have decided to remove the two heads featuring red/orange hair from the Legendary Warrior figure. While we know fans were excited about those parts, as were we, this adjustment allows us to move forward confidently with the figure as originally intended — a generic fantasy warrior for Mythic Legions — without unintentionally infringing upon any existing character designs or copyrights.

All promotional images on our website and social channels have been updated to reflect the final configuration of the figure."

Honestly, I'm surprised the 'Red Herring Sonja' even made it through to promo shots. Definitely skirting way too close to existing copyrights with that... but a shame, nonetheless, to lose both redhead options.

I'm surprised Red Sonja's rights holders, and not Mattel's, were the first to step in and target these Mythic Legions tribute figures. Some of their MOTU and She-Ra tributes have been really spot on.

Especially since 'red headed barbarian woman' is a bit more nebulous than those *very* direct tributes that they've done. Guess the Horsemen still had enough sway with Mattel after all their years of working for them to avoid that sort of trouble!

This doesn't make much sense, as they marketed their male "Legendary" warrior as clearly Conan-esque. And Red Sonja doesn't own the copyright on redheaded warrior women- there's Boudica (often said to have red, or tawny, sometimes blonde, hair), not to mention Jirel of Joirey, both of whom came out before Red Sonja. Nevertheless I'd like to see them improve the figure with some true double knee/elbow limbs, better upper torso, and some hair articulation or options that wont interfere with movement.

No, but a litigious rights holder can still make their life miserable and cost loads in legal fees even if they're not successful. The specific combination of 'redhead warrior woman in silver bikini' is close enough for legal saber rattling and potentially filing court action and only the lawyers win if that happens... not saying it's fair, just saying that's how the legal world works.

No I understand it and also its really not a battle worth fighting, since they can simply come up with a figure like, say, Cassia (which has a better torso anyway), improve its articulation, give it a black mohawk along with helmet, then toss in a scarlet headed female head alt for the Cosmic line, and viola, mission accomplished.

The redhead Cosmic legion head pack would probably work fine for that purpose, depending on skin tones.

Dang, I like the redhead heads the best, but I've got to give them credit for knocking off $10. It's still a great looking figure.  Guess I'll go with the dark hair head when the time comes.

Kudos to the 4H for lowering the price. Thats why I like this company, besides making awsome figures they look out for thier fans.

They go that extra mile (Valaverse has done this too to an extent) which I think has endeared them to fans....take care of them right, and you got a customer for life.

Provided you're willing to wait 12+ months for a figure. :)

Yeah that's an issue they need to address, along with articulation....they've made some strides in one area but the other HAS to get shorter.

Ooof! I wish they would fight it, but that would cost them more money than acquiescing. I hate lawfare.

Four Horsemen could do the exact same heads over at Cosmic Legions, and there's not squat anyone could do about it. If collectors choose to put them on other bodies, thems the breaks. There's no IP on redhead warrior women and we all know it.

Part of me though, says they should call these karens on their bluff, because just rolling over sends a bad message.

Oh how we've seen far too much of THAT. And what it leads to.

But I will say, the actual Red Sonja figures that are out there far outstrip any proposed Mythic Legions "Legendary Warrior". What Fourhorsemen REALLY need to do is work on improving the articulation and actual female form for their line, not just settling for substituted male parts. Can't wait to see what Savage Crucible's answer is to a female warrior.

I totally agree! They have been making some extra strides in updating their articulation, but making humans that aren't human-roid or humanoid monsters zombies, skeletons, or goblins remains a challenge. It's not that they are bad figures on their own, but the competition has grown so immensely both homegrown like Mezco, Spero Toys, Harvinger Studios, Fresh Monkey Fiction, Gridiron Studios, Icon Collectibles, Frazetta Girls, Loose Collector, Mondo (for 1/12th), Boss Fight Studios (for 1/12th), then again internationally with Xesray Studios, Nottaa Toys, Metytoyz, Maestro Union, Fury/Rage Toys, InArt, Romankey, Ramen Toy, this scale is being flooded with absolute specimens by companies that are so hungry and so eager to prove themselves that the idea of holding on to some kind of golden standard from one year to the next is increasingly a fantasy. Even the 4H aren't tops in the monster department as a result. Perhaps the practical thing to aim for is to at least not be the worst in anything...

So the smart thing to do in the short term is to do whatever they can to reduce the huge wait for these figures. After just one year, hype around a project begins to fade big time. By the time year 2 comes around, it's nice to get what you paid for but the imagination has moved onward. Now you don't necessarily need to crank them out every 6 to 9 months, but 2+ years has really become part of the brand. Figura Obscura is a nice alternative way of doing business, closer to what Mezco does but not nearly as frustrating. Plus, more diorama pieces. They could really hit it out of the park with that!

This brand-new Cosmic Legions Character Pack will be available for preorder at StoreHorsemen.com sometime later this year! This set includes 2 different heads (each with very cool “Edgehounder Hunters” face paint designs) plus 2 neck posts and a set of arms in same flesh-tone color to match the heads! This set pairs wonderfully with the VORGGA figure from the Cosmic Legions 1 wave (as shown in the first pic), and we will have this new Character Pack available during the preorder both with a Vorgga figure for a discounted price or as just the heads pack alone!

Of course, because this set is made with the Legions Build System, the heads are also fully compatible with other Legions figures! The final shot shows one of these heads on our 2026 Touring Figure for the Legendary Warrior. That figure is making her debut at the Zolocon show this weekend!

This heads pack will be available as a preorder item so ANYONE who wants one will have a chance to get it. The Horsemen will also have them available at future live events after the preorder has ended and these sets are in hand incase you happen to get the Four Horsemen Studios Mythic Legions Legendary Warrior Figure ;).

We wondered how long it would be before that head would pop up somewhere else... 😁

Almost as fast as a Mick Foley retirement and then coming back for main event of Wrestlemania angle.
