NECA to bring Muppets Figures in 2026!

Shown below is an announcement that in 2026 new Muppets Figures will be coming from NECA. These appear to be articulated figures based off this image as the Kermit arm has an articulation point! When more information is available we will be sure to let you know.

Given their work on Sesame Street, this seems like a natural progression and a good fit. The big question will be what accessories they go with!

NECA has done great things with Henson IPs.

It would be nice if they continue the Dinosaurs line.

YES! I wash crushed after Diamond went bust. This brings me great joy! If they do for the Muppets what they did for some of their other licenses and bring us the deep cuts as well as the classics it'll be amazing. Got my fingers crossed for Thor!

I am still somewhat surprised that they have yet to do an Elmo figure for the Sesame Street line. I realize there were some messed up issues with the voice actor, but Elmo has always been a longtime favorite in regard to Sesame Street characters in spite of that.

Looking at the characters they've done the Sesame Street to date, it seems to me like they're courting the Gen X fans first with the 'classic' characters. With Elmo coming to prominence in the 90's, I expect he's further down the list but a definite lock, especially if they need to pull out a good sales bump to show the line still has pulling power at retail.

I'm surprised Piggy wasn't teased in there. Should be very interesting to see what they show at ToyFair!

This is great news I have good faith that NECA will do an excellent job on Muppets, seeing what they can do with Sesame Street, although the price will certainly be higher then Diamond, but the figures should be compatible in a collection, I mean I knew someone was going to pick up the license that was never a question but glad it's NECA because they seem like the right people to do it, and it should scale with Diamond, I say all this only because my Girl collects Muppets and she was heartbroken when Diamond shut down and keeps asking me if someone else is going to ever do more figures, I'll be happy to tell her, Muppets are back baby!

Great move on NECA's part! I'd love for them to go more than a few lines deep on these.
