Zootopia 2 led the parade to theaters this Thanksgiving weekend with a domestic box office of $156 million. The movie pulled in another $400 million overseas for a record $556 million globally, the biggest worldwide start of all time for an animated film. The film did especially well in China where it became the top animated opening of all time there with $272 million. Domestically, the movie is now the third highest opening for a Walt Disney Animation film behind Moana 2 and Frozen 2. Clearly the House of Mouse has a way with sequels.

The rest of the U.S. Top 5 Box Office Results for November 26-30:

Wicked: For Good had a strong second week, earning $93 million, to bring its total to $270.4 million domestically after opening Nov. 21.

Now You See Me: Now You Don’t came in third with $10 million bringing its 3-week total to just under $50 million.

In fourth was Predator: Badlands with $6.6 million, pushing its total domestic take to $85 million. The film is now the highest grossing film in the Predator franchise domestically, passing Alien vs. Predator, though the film still has $4 million left to go to surpass AVP’s $177.4 million global box office.

The Running Man rounded out the top five in North America earning $5.5 million this weekend for a three-week total of $34.2 million.
