After months of speculation Robert Pattinson has confirmed in an interview with IndieWire, his casting in Dune: Part Three. In response to a direct question about if he was playing a villain role in the film, The Batman star said, “Yes.” Pattinson did not discuss the specific role, but fans of Frank Herbert's novels have theorized he’ll be playing Scytale, a Tleilaxu Face Dancer and master of deception.

Alongside Robert Pattinson, Timothée Chalamet, Zendaya, Josh Brolin, Florence Pugh, and Jason Momoa are slated to appear in Denis Villeneuve’s final installment of his Dune trilogy when it hits theaters on December 18, 2026.

I am glad Robert Pattinson has had a solid film career after the Twilight movies. I never got around to seeing the Batman movie he was in, but he was really great in The Lighthouse.

He will always be Cedric Diggory to me.

His Batman movie is over rated.
