Power Rangers x Godzilla Figures From Playmates!?!

Shown below via Ned Chang are what appears to be a new crossover line between Power Rangers and Godzilla from Playmates Toys. These have not yet been officially announced by Playmates and we don't have many details about it, so for now we will consider these rumor until we see some kind of official announcement.

I'm not really interested in the main Playmates MMPR figures, but as a fan of both franchises, I have to get these.

Oh okay, out of left field, what is up with the sudden explosion of Godzilla crossover stuff? either way I gotta say I'm liking what I'm seeing...I think these are super fun, and I would totally buy all of the rangers! But much like the TMNT x Godzilla stuff, which I really like as well, I can't find diddly squat in Canada, maybe this will be different, but for some reason Playmates really farts on the tarts over here.

I am surprised this mashup didn’t happen when Bandai was producing the Power Rangers figures, considering Bandai produces Godzilla stuff as well.

Yeah, it doesn't seem like a really hard crossover to conceive, but I guess nobody was thinking about it *shrug* but Playmates is really certainly trying to do a lil sumptin sumptin these days I guess with their Godzilla license, I mean they were frying themselves by releasing garbage bin product for the recent movies that were like insta clearance, so I guess why not give it a whirl amalgmating properties that might sell with the zilla franchise... hey it's working so far. I can't wait for the Godzilla x Star Trek mash-up, Captain Piczilla and Rodaspock
