In a recent interview with Extra, Dolph Lundgren sparked excitement among fans by hinting at his possible return to the He-Man franchise. When Derek Hough asked if he would appear in the 2026 film, Lundgren played it cool, choosing to keep details under wraps. "Maybe, yeah, you'll have to check it out when it comes out," Lundgren said.

Lundgren famously portrayed He-Man, the alter ego of Prince Adam of Eternia, in the 1987 film adaptation. Years later, the Rocky IV star expressed his interest in joining a reboot of the franchise as King Randor, He-Man’s father. Although James Purefoy is confirmed to take on the role in the upcoming film, there remains a variety of intriguing characters for the 67-year-old actor to potentially bring to life.

Masters of the Universe is slated for a theatrical release next summer, and Lundgren’s possible involvement adds another layer of anticipation for fans eager to see how the beloved universe will be reimagined.

It'd honestly be extremely funny to me if it turns out he has no involvement in this movie, and just answered like that because he knew people would get excited.

Though if he does have a cameo, I'd guess he'll either be King Grayskull in a quick flashback, or somebody like He-Ro or Wun-Dar
