Turtle power! The Ben Cooper Costume Kids Collection is back, and this time it's a totally tubular tribute to the 1987 Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles cartoon! NECA brings the golden age of trick-or-treating to life with fully poseable figures based on the licensed kids' costumes from two of the largest Halloween costume manufacturers from the 1950s-'80s.

Featuring faithful recreations of the original Collegeville costumes, this wave includes all four heroes in a half shell- Leonardo, Donatello, Raphael, and Michelangelo-plus classic villains Shredder, Bebop, and Rocksteady. Each 6-inch costumed action figure wears a mask and soft goods clothing replicating the signature vinyl look of the classic costumes and includes a soft goods trick-or-treat pillowcase accessory.

Love the concept with this line but, man, these things are overtaking the collectibles section at my local target lol. No one seems to be buying them apparently.

They sell but some waves sell better than others. If they didnt then they wouldn't release so many. The Garfield wave sells and Kiss has been disappearing. I never even saw the Thanksgiving killer. I wish i had bought wave 1 before they disappeared given those were $200+ on eBay. Devil version 1, The Mummy and Skeleton kid (boy) have never been reissued in glow in the dark.

Beaming to your shelf, this lineup includes vintage Halloween costumes of Captain Kirk, Spock, and a Klingon, each realized as a 6-inch costumed action figure. Wearing a mask and soft goods clothing faithfully recreating the original vinyl costume, each one includes a Star Trek trick-or-treat pillowcase accessory and comes in a numbered, retro-style window box that pays homage to the classic costume packaging.

I genuinely wonder, who in the world buys these things??? They are not cool action figures, they are kids dressed in pretty bad masks and costumes. Why buy a toy of a kid dressed as a famous character, when you can buy the toy of said famous character???

Because of nostalgia. Anyone born in the 70s or 80s either wore these or knew someone who did. I think theyre great and brings back memories. I was the wolfman so they made a figure of me at age 5 or 6. That’s cooler than any other screen accurate wolf man I could buy. It’s priceless.
