I only want Batwing from this wave. Passing on Troika Batman and Azrael.

My favorite Azraels in the line came out very early with the White Knight and Suit of Sorrows versions.

What's a Troika? I know that's russian for a sled drawn by 3 horses, but this does not look like the Red Son Batman, ushanka hate and all that. :P

It was a storyline from back in the day. Not one I've read though so not able to give you a review. Loving azrael.

Knightquest Batman reminds me of the kenner figure I had so this is def a must have pick up for me! The all black Batman reminds me of the 90s look for him- anything Keaton type is awesome to me. Plus the long ears def brings me back to some of the 90s comics I had when I was a kid- this is also a pick up for me.

Those Kelly Jones-style Batman ears jumps for sure. It sure looks like a lot of last minute Batman variants are on the way as McFarlane uses the final year of the DC license to make a lot of money off of minor sculpting changes & repaints of Batman & various pre-releases.

Yes, and that's a good thing. Also, it takes a year to a year and a half to bring a figure to market. This was planned way before he got outbid on the license renewal. If these were ridiculous repaints like what Kenner (and later Mattel) did with the BTAS line then I'd be with you, but with the exception of the special edition releases whose purpose is to pump out non-essential figures that help get as much money back as possible on the tooling, everything has been something that exists some place in Batman's long history. That green Batman is 1 of 6 or 7 we are going to get including the rainbow version that will probably be the last one from that series.

Reuse is the only way a toy line can survive. Those minor sculpting changes/releases exist to pave the way for characters we don't have or that nobody has in the case of never before released characters. Bring on all the repaints and variants and Platinums.

Tons of Batman variants and shortpacking female characters is NOT a good thing. I will be happy when McFarlane is long gone from the DC property.  And I say that as someone who loves some of his figures and wanted to like the line over all.

I was in a a meeting when the pre-orders went live and Batwing had sold out on Amazon, BBTS and EE before I got there so I had to purchase on McFarlane Toy Store. Ugh. I didn't care about the other figures in the wave.

The past two weeks I've been on the McFarlane site when the releases go live and hit the Amazon link, they're never available.  I'm not sure why they even bother listing them before they have stock, IF they are getting stock...
