Hammer is mildly interesting. Do we know what size these are?

It may not be hyper articulated or super detailed BUT the price is unbeatable. Perfect for toys. As soon as links are I will be getting the entire wave.

Also, I think the head is more proportioned to the body realistically than the McFarlane version. The head on that one is slightly too small for it's body size.

I agree with you. I'm waiting to see more in hand shots of the McFarlane movie Superman, but I'm thinking of cancelling my preorders. The head is too small.  It's going to look strange in hand if that's true.

This should scale perfectly with McFarlanes dc retro or batman 66 or superfriends line with the same amount of articulation BUT at half it's price.

nice to see a line that actual kids can buy, $10 for a decent action figure is good, i don't think parents are intersted in paying $25 for something, that in little hands, will get beat up, but $10 isn't so bad. it's nice that a company can do "toys" and another company can do collectibles.

Looking at all of these figures being shown for this movie, and having obviously seen the trailer, I must say IMO, this movie has wwwaaay too many characters in it, just overwhelming, and it makes me feel so much less about this movie, because it's screaming overly bloated and gimmicky, this isn't an Avengers movie, this isn't even Justice League, this is supposed to be a Superman movie, why in the world do I need to see 15 different new characters on screen, how can any of them have an adequate story attached to them, it just feels so unnecessary, this movie is the official intro to Gunn's DCU and it really feels like it's doing way too much, a good strong story for Superman and Lex would have been suffice, but now every where I look I'm seeing way too many additional heros and villains, it just feels silly. It's feeling like a real clown car.

I also think they put too many characters in and Superman might be a supporting character in his own movie (Or will the movie be three hours long?).

3 inch figures? that is quite baffling

that is a huge deviation from all their previous 3.75 inch movie figures (Aquaman, Blue Beetle, Black Adam, Batman & the Flash)

It's a bummer tbh. So basically the same size as the original Page Punchers, but no real supporting toylines and the lack of elbow joint is a letdown for me.

I actually think that superman movie is, superman telling stories to lois in a interview. That's why there are so many characters.

It's a big disappointment to me that the most recent trailer reveals that Lois Lane knows who Superman is in this first film. That Clark Kent / Superman reveal is the highlight of well-made Superman media and they seem to be rushing it.

Rachel Brosnahan has a chance to be the best non-animated Lois by far, but I'm not excited for the movie despite this.

Do we really NEED another Superman origin story? I think we all know already. I'm fine with flashbacks and such, but come on...we ALL know Superman's origin...we ALL know Batman's origin. I think Gunn is just trying to get on with it...I'm not excited, but I'm definitely giving it a chance.

Having looked at the reviews of these 6 inch figures, I feel like I may try to pick them up, if only to be placeholders for subsequent Mattel lines that will (fingers crossed) be in a similar scale but improve on the sculpt/paint/articulation. They're cheaper for sure and look it, but I have more faith that they'll cover all the major characters than I do that McFarlane will. Plus that likeness for Guy Gardner makes him look more like Nathan Fillion as Guy Gardner than any of the promo shots have - i think Spin Master actually got the haircut right!
