I get that they're going for a recreation of the poster, but this is a very unflattering shot for the figure

I wonder if they're going to announce everything they are making for this movie.

I imagine they will reveal all of the stuff we saw in the leak picture from a few weeks ago.

Like that's a bit more like the actor than the Cavill-figures isn't it?

I like the Cavill figures actually. If they weren't so short, I would use them as my McFarlane Superman.

Yea…it’s awkward with choosing an open hand while he’s in flight.

Shown below is a look at the new Superman Movie DC Multiverse Superman & Krypto (Deluxe Theatrical Edition) figure from McFarlane Toys. Look for this to go up for pre-order TODAY at 12pm ET at places like our sponsors BigBadToyStore.com and Entertainment Earth. We should also be seeing the new movie Lex Luthor figure go up for pre-order today as well so stay-tuned for more details on that soon.

I'm probably in the minority...I'm still feeling some kind of way DC opted to put their heroes back in trunks.  I think Supes and Batman looked better without them

The picture makes the head maybe look too small.  And I don't like symbol. But I still think I will order him.  It might work as an Injustice 2 stand-in (I hate the Injustice 2 one they made).

Well, what can I say, as an action figure he's good, but I still don't like the look of the costume (I think it's lame), and I don't like the fact that the DC logo is back in the past.(Personally I preferred it the way it was.)

Note while it didnt specifically say with the preview, I believe like Superman this will be a  DC Theatrical Deluxe 7IN WV1 - Lex Luthor With Baby Kaiju (Superman Movie). There has been a listing for a non-deluxe Superman, but not Lex. I believe a new trailer will be dropping today so maybe they are keeping the Baby Kaiju under wraps until then. The leaked figures we saw was the Deluxe Lex though.

I am not 100% sure if Lex is going up for pre-order today or not.

Since he looks like he's 18, I don't care either way. :)

Maybe I'm used to "comic proportions" but the heads on these just look a touch small to me.

Fine by me, I'm planning on putting my battle suit Lex's head on this body anyhow

These look pretty good, but I'm not necessarily interested in either of these figures unless I eventually find them on clearance at some point (like The Batman figures did, for example). I don't expect these to be made in the same quantities as the figures for that movie were, though. McFarlane does seem to save their best work for movie figures.

I have high hopes for the movie itself because I'm pretty certain that based upon precedent from Warner Bros that if this doesn't do at least $1 billion that they'll put the plug on the James Gunn experiment pretty quickly. WB has just never shown any patience for any type of long term plan.

They look good, but we could use a little bit of estrogen in this line. What gets me is Spin Master whos making the kids line not only is doing a Hawkgirl but also a Lois Lane, while Mcfarlane doing the aldult collector line and doesnt even have a Hawkgirl in it.
