Greetings, citizenssss. The Year of the Snake just keeps slithering along with a new wave of G.I. Joe Classified figures dominated by Cobra naturally. The newesssst member of the winning team: Dreadnok Monkeywrench demonstrated he’s the type of scum that rises to the top in joining Zartan’s Band of Viperssss. He comes equipped with his ssssignature trident harpoon and more for doing unprovoked mayhem. My subordinates are always sssseeking to improve themselves to curry my favor as evidenced by the return of my favorite mercenary Major Bludd, now with pinlessss arms and legs. Saving the best for last of course, you get me, Cobra Commander with Combat Armor. This ssssinister figure of yours truly includes alternate versions of my striking visage as well as my precious pet iguana Sssserpentor. Maybe you’ve heard of him?

That was my Cobra Commander as a kid.  Guess I always had his backpack upside down, always figured it was a jetpack.  I must be missing something with the Iguana.

In the DIC G.I. Joe cartoon, Serpentor is turned into an iguana when Cobra Commander is restored from snake form.  I believe it is heavily implied that one of the Dreadnoks then eats lizard Serpentor.

I'm shocked Major Bludd is not a retro design. Is there really any demand for a slightly recolored Classified Bludd?

That makes sense, I checked out as a kid when it switched to DIC and I never did go back and watch any of it, though I've been meaning to for a while.

Armored CC is one of the last Joes I had before aging out.  Been waiting for this one.  if only anyone could convince Hasbro to do hooded CC (the only other CC I had as a kid), we'd be complete.

Also, every single Classified CC has the pointing finger.  Love it.

The Dragonfire miniseries is watchable, but not good. The rest of the DIC run is really quite bad and childish (even for GI Joe).

Having never been able to get the Cobra Island Major Bludd, I'm happy to see him here, though I honestly thought they'd Retro card him rather than mainline it.

Armored CC looks promising, Monkeywrench looks like he'll go well with the other Dreadnoks (I haven't been collecting them since I'm not a big fan of them but the figures undeniably look great), the CLAW seems fun but I hope they up the amount that they have available to order so we don't sell out practically instantly like we have with the other Cobra vehicles...

Happy about the new Major Bludd. Missed out on him the first time around (I had just started collecting Joes at the time and wasn’t really trying to get secondary characters when he was released). The first Major Bludd is kinda pricey.

Monkeywrench, pass. Looks great but haven't been collecting the Dreadnoks. The Cold Slither set will be mine though

As much as I always liked both Armored CC and that Version of Snake Eyes, I will be passing, I got to stay strong and keep with my collecting criteria, and that's only 1 of each character, So that being said only Monkeywrench for me here, I don't do Vehicles so fine on that C.L.A.W., and thankfully not that interested in the Pilot, which is good because I usually want the drivers/pilots of vehicles but I'm not going to pay a vehicle price for a figure. I don't need a Bludd either, strange though how this one looks really similiar to the previous one.

Given how Classified vehicles have gone in the past, you can almost certainly buy the CLAW and sell the vehicle, probably making the pilot free.

That's my plan. I don't like the Claw, but I'm determined to have all these Valkyrie-variant pilots/drivers.

You mean that you only have one version of He-Man,  Skeletor,  Optimus Prime, Megatron,  Mumm-Ra,  Lion-O,  Monstarr and so on? You are missing  a lot...

Yes, well mainly for MOTU anyways, only 1 instance of each character, same with Thundercats yes, although I don't really have a massive Thundercats collection, only a handful of the original LJN stuff, and here is something that might surprise you, I have not one single Optimus or Megatron or a Monstarr...I don't collect any Transformers or Silverhawks.

I think I actually have 7 Transformers figures on display, they are OG toys, Sharkticon, Rippersnapper, and a bunch of Pretenders (because I love those), Skullgrin, Submaurader & Carnivac. And I have Weirdwolf and Wreck-gar, Not one Silverhawk.

Cobra Commander uses the Dragonfire/pythonizer ray to merge Serpentor with Gnawgahyde's iguana, who then keeps him as a pet. There's a line about it wearing off eventually. I don't recall them ever getting back to this.
