Does Deadshot have any weapons? The DC/Warner Brothers' decision to drop guns from their action figures is ridiculous.

That seems to have been undone in the past year, as multiple McFarlane DC Multiverse figures have come with guns recently.  Each variant of Adam Strange comes with a laser pistol, and Deadshot looks to have his wrist guns (three pairs, with and without blast effects).

I know who this Supergirl reminds me of, Greta Thunberg (a little bit).:)

I hesitate to say this in case it will ruin the figure for anyone else, but the expression on her face very much suggests Todd (or his team) is fond of McKayla Maroney.

I do really want that Supergirl, but I keep thinking what's the point anymore with McFarlane for me...I'm already checked out, not that I was an avid collector, I just get some figures here and there, but with the license going over to Mattel, I feel like I should just wait and see what they give us. I might still try and get that Supergirl though it looks good, even the silly facial expression.

I can't help thinking that this is 1 of few Mcfarlane female figures that has an neck. For some reason that's wild to me.

Ha.  Most McFarlane girls have necks. They just have the wrong neck peg. You can fix this with custom neck pegs from etsy (Wonder Woman in particular) or buy the version that comes with the right neck peg (the three pack Three Jokers Batgirl instead of the single release).

So.... they have necks when one is willing to buy fodder and do some customizations? it reinforces that OP was right to begin with!

The figures look like they have no necks because the peg is wrong. But if you remove the head from Wonder Woman and Batgirl you can see that they aren't sculpted that way. It's just a peg issue.  You're right the practical effect can be the same.  But it's better than being sculpted poorly. McFarlane isn't going to do another comic Wonder Woman (probably) so at least I can put a new peg in and have a middling Wonder Woman than no Wonder Woman all.

This, by the way, isn't just a McFarlane issue.  Many figures from Hasbro and Mattel suffer from a short neck peg. Scott N., formerly of MattyCollector, said it's because the factory typically uses whatever it has around and companies are often too cheap to reject it for QA reasons.

Wow. Limit 1 from BBTS.  These must be very short-produced.

Supergirl sold out at BBTS, EE and Amazon. U can still get her with Superman at EE.

Supergirl now sold out completely at EE along with Superman. BBTS and Amazon still have Superman. Amazon also still has Supergirl.

For those that don't follow McFarlane's social media, the company explained prices will be going up immediately because of the tariffs.  That is why Supergirl (and Superman everywhere but EE) was more than $24.99.

Pre ordered both of these. Very excited to add them to the shelf. Glad they used that buck for kingdom come Superman!

I'm in much the same mindset. I was pretty much all-in on DCUC, but slipped back to being very selective with McMultiverse. When it comes to a major character like Supergirl who's going to get a major merchandise push with her film, it's pretty much a certainty that she'll get done again in whatever collector line Mattel does, so I'm less inclined to bust my boiler over trying to pick this version of her up.

Interesting. I came to the opposite conclusion.  For one thing, McFarlane has already said he's doing the merchandise for a Supergirl film.  Will Mattel really choose to reissue Supergirl stuff so soon after taking over the license?  For another, movie merchandise doesn't always float all boats.  What are the chances McFarlane does another comic version of Supergirl while having to release movie versions of her (and we already know how reluctant he is to do female figures to begin with)?

I didn't kill myself to get this Supergirl, but she was a priority.  I'm betting she's the only comic version of Supergirl we see until late 2026 at the earliest.

I doubt McFarlane will do much more with her, though if he were smart, he'd get a proper Helen Slater movie Supergirl out there as the movie hype and marketing ramps up, along with a couple of other comic variants, but I'm not holding my breath there given the usual character choice of the line.

The DCU movie doesn't release until June next year which is right when Mattel takes over, so I have to imagine they'll be releasing something to be synergistic with that major movie push, especially being right out of the gate with the license. I could easily see competing movie Supergirls on shelves, but I guess we'll have to wait until Toyfair next year before we get some better indication of that.

I guess Friday is when we're gonna find out if and how the price hike will effect the collector Editions. They did say "*some* of our products will receive price hikes effective immediately" so hopefully that means they'll be keeping their already more expensive stuff at the same price, since the Collector Editions are already arguably overpriced as is.

I pre-ordered everything except Year Two Batman. I'm looking forward to Adam Strange, Deadshot, Batman 1,000,000 and Final suit Batman. I was also relieved to not want any of the Platinum variants this time!
