Today Hasbro is holding a new fanstream with the G.I. Joe Classified brand team. Among other things we expect to see the new G.I. Joe Classified Footloose, Blowtorch, Law And Order, Frag-Viper and Darklon figures which will likely be going up for pre-order later today at 1pm ET at places like our sponsors BigBadToyStore.com and Entertainment Earth.

Panel begins.

They are starting with render reveals: V4 Snake-Eyes, MMS with Col. Hawk (Amazon exclusive), Retro Cardback Green Shirt Trooper, Retro Cardback B.A.T. This will be the final wave of Retro Cardback figures this year.

The rest of the stream will focus on Cold Slither and pre-orders.

SDCC Cold Slither Boxset. They are going over the packaging which we first saw at Toy Fair. The figures will be blistered in the boxset. They are not showing the actual Cold Slither figures, just the same renders we had already seen several weeks ago.

There will be a Cold Slither one-shot comic from Skybound.

Now going over their pre-orders showing the Frag-Viper, Blowtorch, Darklon, Footloose and Deluxe Law & Order. Pre-Order opens at 1pm ET today at places like our sponsors BigBadToyStore.com and Entertainment Earth.

I'm hoping we see the Thunder Machine. That's at the top of my want list right now.

It's interesting you mention that.

There's a leak out there that says Hasbro won't be doing large vehicles on Pulse after all and we won't get another HasLab until 2026.  I looked the gentleman up and he seems to have been credible in the past.

The Thunder Machine isn't considered a large vehicle though. It's a mid size like the VAMP, so it will see a regular release.

I hope you're right.  The leak in question was quite specific.  Personally, I would prefer if some of these leaks started being untrue.  It would take the wind out of the sails of a number of unpleasant videos on Youtube.

If we're talking about the same person, and I'm pretty certain that we are, he's been wrong as often as he's been right...maybe a little more often than that. Until the Joe team says, "we won't be doing a HasLab this year," it's just a rumor.

Interesting.  I wonder how this fits in with the announcement last year that lots of Joe stuff would be moving slower than usual.

It could be that they're just revising the programming. There may have been some overlap between what would have been shown next week and what would be shown at Toyfair in a few weeks, and they may want to avoid that, and they may want to have some different things to show off in order to compensate.

Am I too early to hope for a Retro Iron Grenadier? 😁

It's never too early to hope for something. I'd like a Retro Iron Grenadier, too. The main line IG's are cool, but the necktie gives them officer vibes, I think.

I'm hoping Hasbro starts putting the Oktober Guard figures in the line. I'd probably buy all of them.

That would be rad.  I remember getting that as a kid and the whole triple-pack thing blew me away.  I loved those guys.

Rumor is that Mercer will be in a two-pack with another Sgt. Slaughter repaint.

Oh, BOOOO to that! I hope that's not true.  I love the Sarge, but I don't know what more they can do with him that would actually be interesting, nor do I need yet another iteration.

I was definitely a Mercer fan back in the day. Something about him just said cool.

That's really disappointing news about not getting a Fall/Winter Retro wave.  Are they ending the Retro Card line? Anecdotally, the retro seem to sell better than the general releases.

Edit: Clarified that I didn't mean are they ending Classified in general.

Im sure they will continue into next year but they have a lot of stuff coming so they probably want to spread them out. Major Bludd they name revealed will probably be a Retro Cardback figure.
