Nice Can't wait for Rio Blast! , that's another character from the OG assortment to cross off the list.

really wish they'd quit the 1 figure every few months on Mattelcreations and just get back to some waves, could have knocked out most of the final figures in two waves.

could have had a wave that was Rio Blast, Stonedar, Two-Bad & Dragstor, then we could have had Blast Attak, Rotar, Twistoid & insert whoever extra here.

Really looking forward to this one, was one of my favorites as a kid.  If he had ever been in an episode of the show I surely missed it, but his gimmick was rad and his sliding backpack gun setup was beyond awesome.  Now his random pieces are scattered to the winds.  This is an essential replacement for me.

I guess Rio Blast mightve been a pegwarmer back then cause I remember buying him at an outlet store for like $1 in the late 80s and they had a ton of him.

Fun figure though....muscular barbarian/old west hero type with MASK-style tech, if i were to describe him lol.

Thanks, it felt like that mightve been a bit excessive.  But that was yesterday, how about no. LoL

Got 'em.  Always such a super cool figure in my view, even if he felt out of place with the rest of MOTU to me as a kid.  My mind always bent more towards the swords and sorcery aspect of the line, so a fully cybernetic dude seemed odd to me, but in retrospect when you had characters like Roboto and things like the sky sled flying around, I guess he's not so odd after all.  But I never had Roboto or too many technological vehicles, so the tech stuff just wasn't really a part of my play pattern by and large.  It was 95% monsters and barbarians for me.

Is it sold out already?I didn't ordered them yet. Not sure if the fandom is interested in him... I never saw him in original cartoon so for that reason I'm not 100% sold on this figure. 😃💡👍

Seems to be still available as of right now!

, it was definetly the lack of interest/popularity for Geldor, who is still available right now on MC!

but not sure if it's lack of interest/popularity or just a good amount of stock available, or a made to order thing going but Rio Blast still hanging around, that makes me happy, I had driven myself crazy trying to get Mattelcreations stuff, maybe I don't have to anymore?

I'm thinking it's exactly what I mentioned about the lack of interest of us cartoon purist for the Filmation cartoon characters... 💡 It's still available.

Well I like that it's still available, I am always surprised at how much more of a fanbase the Filmation Cartoon seems to have in the collecting world then the Figure line, I always would have thought it was the other way around, but maybe that's just coming from my perspective since I only collect figure based figures and not animated.
