Just when I think I'm totally done with Mythic Legions . . . .

This will be very tempting, depending on price.

My exact reaction was laced with profanity LOL

To the folks here who never thought a big dragon was coming and even tried to argue the Horsemen wouldn't ever get to it, aren't you glad you were mistaken?

I'm going to need a bigger house to fit all 5 colors I buy.....if they make them.  Hmm might even be 7 if I get White and Gold LOL.

Glad to have it, not glad to potentially pay for and store it.  :)

I had drifted away from the line after passing on the last two waves (three if you count the one that was teased earlier today).

I also thought it might be a kickstarter if it ever happened.

This is a gorgeous green dragon.  Perfect looking. I'm assuming the jaw is articulated and my only quibble with the pictures shown so far is they don't make that clear.

Also of note, Four Horsemen have created an accessory set that comes with a second neck, head in a “fire breathing” pose, a gigantic flame breath effect and a pair of fully extended wings! Stay tuned for more info!

You're not super far off about Kickstarter. They said that preorders will only be on their website (they will not be making extras for sale through retail partners or at shows or in the future) and that the plan is that there will be a minimum amount needed to move forward with production. So definitely a similar kind of campaign model.

Eric Treadaway also said in their live stream that the base figure does have an articulated jaw (the head with the flame does not from the accessory pack does not).

Unless it's like $500, I don't think they will have any problem hitting their minimum.

I think it easily could be, but I still don't think they'd have a problem hitting whatever their minimum will be. There are Legions fans who drop $500 on two or three early figures like it was nothing. There are a lot of majorly devoted fans who will buy anything and everything in this line.

Thanks for the slide, I was just adding that info to the main story!  Team work makes the dream work!

There are also many D&D fans, like myself, who have wanted high end articulated Dragon Toys.....they will hit it.

Exactly. This isn't the kind of thing that will only appeal to Legions fans.

I agree with you, highly doubt there's any chance they'd miss the minimum. Also, with the new line up they just dropped, there's a significant price cut if you get it All-In from their own site. They very often try to keep prices down for their customers (one of the reasons they have such a loyal customer base). So it wouldn't surprise me if the cost for the Dragon is below $500.00.

SHIPPING....I'm betting THAT is gonna be a task. Imagine the poor USPS postal worker that has to haul this thing up 2-4 etc. flights of stairs! lol

Oh. My. Goodness! This thing is beauuuuutiful! I ABSOLUTELY want this but obv it depends on the cost. This may be the most I've spent on 1 figure because I'm all in on this one. I may have to "klarna" this B! Can't wait!

it would even work for us 1/18th scale collectors to use with our Boss Fight fantasy figures

I wouldn't be able to get more than 1

plus a huge price may be a barrier
