Bane.jpgIt's Wednesday, and you know what that means: ToyFarce review!

This week, we're having a look at 1/6 scale Bane figure from Batman: The Animated Series by Mondo. Another awesome addition to the line, Bane is a big, beefy (and heavy!) figure, and the timed edition comes with the best, most fun accessory ever: a whole torso of Bane overdosing on venom!

As usual, the packaging has some awesome art from Danny Haas. I am convinced Mondo does it on purpose to make people who discard their boxes feel bad. They take a ton of space, but I still have all of them!

Bane comes with 3 head sculpts (normal, angry and yelling), 4 pairs of hands, a barbell weight and a crushed batarang, and the Timed Edition adds the unmasked head, the mask to go with it, and the huge, muscular, overdosing torso (with heads and hands).

The figure looks stunning, the skin color tends to look a bit too yellow on some pictures but looks great in person. I had to heat the figure up a little, especially to the elbows and shoulders, which were stuck at first. The articulation is on par with other Mondo Batman: The Animated Series figures, so not optimal, but it's not a brick either. Bane is a bit taller than the other figures (standing at 13.2"). The overdosing torso is absurdly fun (that is not a sentence I expected to ever say!). I have been using the picture of that face as a reaction online for a week!

The next two Batman: The Animated Series 1/6 scale figures from Mondo will be Poison Ivy and the Scarecrow, which already went up for pre-order. There is also a Clayface figure that was revealed at conventions this year. Additionally, Mondo just teased the Batman Beyond figure, which will be up for pre-order at the end of the week (Friday, Nov 8th).

You can still get the standard edition of Bane from our sponsor BigBagToyStore!

This is just great! Pretty cool lighting and the assorted extra arts are turning the experience into a real cartoon scene. A worthy figure for sure.
