"I just wanted peace, but the boxes full of toys keep coming!" - A chilling tale from a quiet suburban neighborhood. Janine, a newly widowed mother of 2, is dealing not only with her grief, but also with action figures and collectibles that keep piling up at her door. It started small, but it still hasn't stopped. Her collector husband may be gone, but his pre-orders keep coming... ToyFarce Investigated 

"It began innocently enough, with just a single, strangely timed delivery", Janine said. One month after her husband John's passing, a package arrived. She assumed it was something he'd ordered right before he passed, and she smiled through tears as she opened it. Yet, that was just the beginning. Two days later, another box. Then, more. And more. Full waves of action figures, vehicles, playsets, dioramas,... Each pre-ordered months or even years in advance continued to pile up, as if her husband was reminding her of his never-ending collection from the other side.

"It’s relentless," she shared. "I thought this would be over by now, but they just... keep... coming... Yesterday, I woke up to find a life-sized Alien Xenomorph trophy plaque from NECA on my doorstep. It’s like he’s collecting from beyond the grave!" She shook her head, nervously glancing at a pile of unopened boxes stacked around the living room.

Desperate to end this, she contacted many of the toy stores and companies, trying to cancel all the pre-orders once and for all, but no one could locate any record of his transacions. "With all those figures arriving at once, we nearly had to start a GoFundMe to be able to pay for everything. If more keep coming, we might end up in debt..."

"Every morning, I see a new box waiting for me on the porch. Halloween’s right around the corner, and I’m terrified he’s ordered some grotesque prop for his collection that'll be here any day..." she shuddered. "I don’t know if I’m living in a home or a warehouse."

Yes, I appreciate the humor here but this is a very real thing! I'm going to be 50 next year and have been divorced for 20 years so there's no wife to worry about, but my two now adult sons want nothing to do with getting rid of my "hoarding" of collectibles. They'd never take the time to actually try to sell any of it because they don't know much about it, it will just end up in a dumpster or donated somewhere.

This will 100% be my wife (just got married last week!) if I get hit by a bus or something.  On that day, the first thing she should do is kill my credit card.  Otherwise, yikes!  She'd kill me all over again.

There are rumors that M. Night Shyamalan is already making the big screen version of this story, called 'Toy Sense'. Kinda exciting news.
