Bandai S.H.Figuarts Kaiju no.8 Reno Ichikawa and Mina Ashiro Review and Images

It's Wednesday, and you know what that means: ToyFarce review!

This week, we're having a look at the S.H.Figuarts Kaiju no.8 figures of Reno Ichikawa and Mina Ashiro from Bandai/Tamashii Nations. The first Kaiju no.8 figure was so good, I had to get the other characters (just so that he doesn't feel to lonely!). The other characters all have more or less the same uniform and articulations, but come with multiple facial expressions and their respective weapons to make up for that. They're also very solid figures. Can someboday saaaaave...my wallet?

Reno Ichikawa is Kafka's only friend, and the only one to know about his secret at first. He was there at the hospital when Kafka got the power to turn into a living weapon Kaiju, and is worried about the organization fighting Kaijus figuring out Kaiju no.8's real identity. He's also the straight face to Kafka's complete wackiness, and an excellent marksman. The figure comes with 3 pairs of hands, 5 face plates, 2 hair parts, an assault rifle and an extra face for the Kaiju no.8 figure. (All figures will come with an extra expression for Kaiju no.8, which is a great incentive to get them all!).

Mina Ashiro is the captain of the Third Division of the Defence Force, and also Kafka's childhood friend (he joined the force to try to reconnect with her). She's one of the best officers of the Defence Force and an excellent marksman, using a powerful cannon to get rid of 'Strongest Supergiant-Class' Kaijus, and has neutralized hundreds of them. The figure comes with 4 different face plates (one including a visor), 3 pairs of hands, her gigantic T-25101985 cannon which comes with its own mini-stand, and an extra face plate for Kaiju no.8. A great figure, which has a ton of presence with that huge cannon.

These figures are pretty slick, and the huge amount of options are just take the collectors in a comfy state.Very good review with amazing pictures!
