Oh, I like that silver age Bats with Ace! That's nice! Will be skipping Neo Gothic BB and Noel Batman though.

Every single time someone says there's too many Mcfarlane Batman figures, and they need to stop making Batman figures, in my mind I think "No, not until they make a golden age, Dick Sprang/Sheldon Moldoff style Batman!"

Now they can stop!

I am having a tough time with keeping up with the recycled bodies using new sculpted heads with cloth capes that McFarlane is now using, especially for Batman figures. I know this was a trick that Mattel used towards the end of their DC license agreement, especially with the JLU figure line. I wonder if this is a signal that McFarlane is expecting to either let the DC license go or losing it to another company?

How much time is left on the last McFarlane/DC licensing agreement? When is it up?

Batman seems to be Todd's bread and butter....if so I need:

Batman 666

Wrath

Scorn

Failsafe

Some of those Batmen Inc folks (especially dude with the wolf looking mask)

Jason Fox Batman (new costume)

Luke Fox Batwing

Still waiting on Icon and Hardware....a OG Azreal would be cool

Sadly none of these are new, one is the first Page Punchers Batman, the second is Knightfall Batman (that dog looks like a hyena), and the third is the body they used for Superboy, Robin, & Nightwing (and they left that weird leg protector or something in there again). Still, they're not that bad (but the Batman Beyond head is a monster, that's going to be a meme again).

I think it's just indicative that they're not too ashamed about cutting corners and reusing tooling, which is nothing too new for their Multiverse line.  They've been going pretty hard with the reuse and repaints for the last couple of years now.  I doubt the license is going anywhere, it's a successful enough brand.

Yeah, I guess it was only that first year or so where all the figures had unique sculpts.

I dont mind the reuse at all just wish their was more thought put into some of their parts choices.

Oh, with you 100% on that.  The choices made are utterly baffling at times.

Noel Batman is pretty good, (even if not new) especially with that cloth cape (Is that a telescope in his hand?), Beyond-Bat is still very ugly (and not just his head). I don't understand why a dog needs a mask to avoid being recognized?

I went ahead and pre-ordered the silver age Bats with Ace and skipped the others. Might look good with the JSA.

That'll  be an easy one, just any Batman body with Hush' trenchcoat.

That's true, but personally I've hoping they'd give him a cloth goods coat, like an improvement on Captain Boomerang's coat, but that could be wishful thinking
