I first noticed artist John Cassaday's work on Captain America a number of years ago. He would go on to work on Planetary (co-creator), the X-men, and Star Wars, among others. Whenever his name appeared in a Star Wars comic news story, I was reminded of those images of Cap's chainmail that influenced me years earlier.
