Actor James Earl Jones Passes Away At Age 93

We are sad to report that actor James Earl Jones who is famously known for among other things as voicing Darth Vader in the Star Wars movies has passed away at age 93. Mr. Jones is survived by his son, Flynn Earl Jones.

Magnificent stage and screen actor. The man won the EGOT (Emmy, Grammy, Oscar, Tony). Also received two Primetime Emmy Awards, a Daytime Emmy, a spoken-word Grammy Award in 1977 and three Tony Awards. The Force was with Him! SALUTE!!

Very sad, but 93 is a good long life.

Everybody is talking about Star Wars, The Lion King, Field of Dreams, even the Sandlot. It doesn't seem to be streaming, but if any of y'all get a chance, check out James's Oscar nominated performance as Jack Jefferson in The Great White Hope from 1970. Absolutely amazing.

Sad news, one movie from him that doesn't get mentioned is Best of the Best. That was a favorite of mine growing up.
