Shown below is a teaser image from Hasbro that appears to confirm rumors that the new G.I. Joe Classified Haslab is indeed the Cobra Rattler. The Rattler logo is clearly on the bottom of the image and we won't have to wait long to find out as this Haslab launches the weekend of San Diego Comic Con 2024 July 25th! Stay tuned.

Any chance this could be a 3.75” rattler similar to the skystriker from a couple years back?

classified scaled rattler would be huge

Pretty sure they said the next HasLab is Classified during YoJoe June.

The Haslab is Classified. 3 3/4" is effectively dead for now.

I would expect some kind of vehicle or playset from Super 7 next year for the Joe line since they handle now the 3 3/4" line...

Thus will be a Classified Haslab for certain.  The O rings seem to be a Super7 thing now. I'm interested if it in fact is a Rattler. Always up for some Cobra vehicles!!

I think $300-$350 for the rattlor. Haslab's gonna drain me this year, the cantina then the rattlor then fing fang from. They really got me this year. Still can't wait to see Wild Weasel.

Rattler? in 1:12 Scale, that would be pretty impressive, not for me personally as a non Vehicle collector, but I'd like to see it, also obviously if it's happening it's going to come with Wild Weasel, and well That is something I do want.

I had hoped the Hasbro GIJC team was FINALLY going to honor 'dream project' via Haslab, but nope! Another MID size vehicle that should be sitting on these empty AF Target/ Walmart shelves.

A foolish aerial vehicle none the less. That only sits two– while taking up massive shelf space w/ no poseable playability (unless your into plane maintenance displaying). I guess I can look forward to 2027, when Wild Weasel ends up on A retro card.

$300,,,, Huh? Its A single cock-pit fuselage w/ two giant plastic wings essentially. Plus Bobby's Action Force vehicle, w/ all them extras is under $200! While making far less units.

And Mattel's bigger WWE vehicles; The Slambulance & that Semi-Truck Rig are like $50. They're both bigger than the Haslabs Hiss, and WWE is not an in-house brand, like GI JOE is too Hasbro.... I'll say, If The Rattler is anywhere close to $200+ we need to put our foot (or feet) down. Firmly!

The HISS was $300, and the Dragonfly was $280. There's no way it's going to be cheaper than those. And comparing Haslab vehicles to WWE vehicles is just silly. There is no comparison. There's not even a comparison with the Action Force Vanguard. The quality is NOT the same. You can tell that just by looking at pictures.

If Wild Weasel is in the HasLab, then I doubt he will show up carded. It's the same thing with the HissTank driver (we might get the blue version someday) and Wild Bill.  Putting these characters in HasLabs might be cool, but it does have consequences.  Even a failed HasLab can lock a figure out for a long time (Madelyne Pryor was in a failed Legends project and we still haven't gotten that figure, just a '97 version).

I like some people's optimism, but I think the Rattler is going to be quite expensive.

Is this in line with other gi joe haslabs? Transformers has done pretty good keeping it under 200

Transformers has only really had one big HasLab, Unicron ($575). I think their other stuff has been relatively small figures compared to other brands. The Joe HasLabs have been $229 for the Skystriker and $300 for the Hiss Tank.  Legends and Star Wars HasLabs have been more expensive than that.

Personally I think it's a bad direction to go in.  If it's the Rattler its a popular vehicle that showed up a lot in the cartoon so putting it behind the Haslab paywall is not a great idea.  I also feel like going with large vehicles is the wrong direction too.  Lets face it, we're not little kids anymore and we don't have playrooms where we can store oodles of toys.  We're adults and maybe we have a few bookcases or a Detolf or two.  Big vehicles are hard to justify in terms of cost and space.

Wait, is this seperate from the GI Joe panel at SDCC on the same exact day? Or... will they stream the panel live?

Confused...

This fanstream is scheduled to happen nine hours earlier than the panel.
Count on at least a few Youtube channels will be live streaming the panel. JayC should be in attendance, and while I don't yet know if the plan is for him to live stream it on his youtube page, I do expect a link to a live stream of the panel to be posted here on Toynewsi.com, as has been done in the past.

I don't quite understand you.  You don't want them to do the Rattler because it's too popular and should be on shelves. But it's also too big for anyone to want. So you want them to do small vehicles behind a HasLab, which they currently are doing and making available on Pulse (and even Amazon).

So, um, what do you think an appropriate Joe HasLab would be?

I think the Rattler will be too big to be practical as a display item for many people.  But I also think expecting it to be made for under $200 and put on shelves at Target and Walmart is pretty unrealistic. So if you want a Rattler, this is your best bet.
