  • toynewman changed the title to McFarlane Toys DC Multiverse Batman Forever Build-a-Figure Wave Figures Coming June 7th!

I'm still amused the Build a Figure is gonna be that Giant Bat which only appeared in a deleted scene!!!!

Reminds me how Mattel released that Monster Bat creature for their BvS wave, which did appeared in the film..... like for 2 seconds.

This is my favorite Two Face,  I've wanted a good Tommy Lee Jones Two Face for years.  The likenesses look great on these.   Must have for me especially with the Batman Forever Batmoblile and Alfred around the corner too.

Very pleased with what McFarlane has done with this line.   June 7 cant come quick enough.

Still pretty disappointed by this choice of BAF.  I have no idea what I'd do display-wise with a giant bat.  Of course, this won't stop me from buying all of these, but surely there was something more interesting they could have gone with?

they looks great, still mad that there is no Chase figure, feels incomplete without her for me

I agree, I wanted her as the BAF. I think this is a fantastic advertising photo though

I second on your two face statement. Looks fantastic.  Robin also look great...😃💡👍

Wish Todd would have left the Robin cape in plastic. Hate cloth capes with a vengeance. The facial sculpts for the figures look spot-on. I do wish The Riddler figure had the jacket & derby hat, but that's just my preference. The BAF huge bat is lame. Alfred would have made a better BAF, IMO. Other than that, I do love the Batman Forever wave.

I do hope we see a combo Batman/Batman Returns wave with Keaton Batman, Nicholson Batman, DiVito Penguin, & Pfeiffer Catwoman. Maybe we'll get an Alfred BAF with this wave, if it's made.

Will Todd make a stand alone Batman & Robin Bane?

They started doing cloth capes at the same time they started doing vehicles so the figures could fit in them. It's confirmed they'll release a Batman Forever Batmobile so is logical the Robin figure should fit inside.

Seems like each figure has been sculpted well based on that poster, except that Batman looks kinda odd. I want more pictures with different angles and lighting before I could decide. Hope it's available on Fan Channels.

LaWl the Giant Bat is the only thing I want, I'm not buying these figures just for it, I'll wait for the soon to come single re-pack of it.

Also ha speaking of that Monster Bat from BvS, yeah barely in the movie and got a figure, thought that was funny, and I was that person who actually bought that figure and that was like one of the few Mattel Multiverse figures I ever got, I dunno but I still love it despite it being pretty irrelevant.

Wonder if anyone would want a Batman without the mask--so it'd be George Clooney's face that we'd see. That'll be a first.

Finally the individual pix dropped. Who can resist that Jim Carrey Riddler. OOOOoooooohhhh! It's as though the movie was aired yesterday.

Val Kilmer was in Batman Forever. Clooney was in Batman and Robin.

yeah Jim as Riddler is pretty awesome, it's a fairly good likeness, and the fact I actually just loved Jim as the Riddler, it was probably one of the best things about this movie, he was literally perfect for that role. Kinda makes me want this figure...but likely not, just the big dumb bat for me,.

and yeah it was Val as Batman in this one, and this figure actually looks like a pretty good Val likeness, never liked that Batman suit though, Two-Face is kinda cool, but just kinda, Tommy Lee was a fine Two-Face but nothing that makes my nostalgia squeal.

Still like everyone is saying, I think it's crazy Todd didn't make a Chase Chase Meridian figure..what a ball drop

I'd have bought that.

I actually was expecting initial movie suit for the Batman with yellow logo aka Panther suit. They would only need new head and basically reuse Clooney figure.

This is the wrong Kilmer suit and Robin's red is too bright. His suit's red was very dark. This figure's red is almost the comic color.  I hated this movie, but I thought they did a decent Batman with it. He was actually jumping off buildings and using his cape and doing Batman things that he had never done very well before in live action. Riddler was just Jim Carrey and Jones' Two-Face was awful. He was trying to do his version of Joker or try and outdo whatever Carrey was trying to do with Riddler. He's literally the worst Two-Face and one of the worst live action villains out of all of them. It's only fitting that his likeness is the weird one out of this set. It's him but it's off. The Nightmare Bat is fine. It was barely in the movie, but they released the deleted scene where it had a much larger presence. All of those deleted scenes and many more were always in the comic adaptation and the novelization and the entire movie was in a completely different scene order in those versions, but those adaptations were created and finalized before the movie got destroyed in editing and it went from a decent story that made sense to the crap we got in the end. I saw the movie at midnight sneak previews and remember leaving pissed off. I hated it. I'll take the figures, though. That'll be my representation of this trash in my collection.

That Riddler is a must. The "Man Bat" is kind of an odd choice- Riddler's throne would be cool, but maybe we'll be lucky and get a deluxe white outfit Riddler with the throne.

How is it the wrong Kilmer suit?

I believe what he meant was that for most of the movie he wears a different suit, called "Panther." It is less armored, more flexible, and has a yellow outline around the bat symbol. This suit seems to be the sonar suit he wears at the end.
