Shown below is an Amazon listing for un-announced reissue of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Classic Technodrome Playset from Playmates Toys. The listing isn't available to order yet but it appears this one will be an Amazon Exclusive. As always until it's official just take it with a grain of salt!

OK, this will be hard to skip. I never had the Technodrome as a kid but always wanted it.
Now theyh just need to do the Sewer Lair (which I DID have as a kid)

Never had the Technodrome but my cousin did.  He had just about everything Ninja Turtle related, and I always hated how poorly he treated his stuff.  It was always a strong indicator of how he'd treat my toys whenever he borrowed them, by forced writ of our mothers.  I'll never forgive how he destroyed my Prince Adam figure.  Anyway, guess I'll finally have the chance to get a hold on one of my own when this pops off.  It was rad how it connected with the Sewer Lair.

This is really awesome! One of the best playsets of the time is finally getting a reissue! Great for those that want to experience the OG Technodrome!

I agree, this is a hard one to pass on, Technodrome was so rad, I also never had it, but multiple friends did, and I just adored playing with it, and I did and still do have the Sewer, but this was so much cooler I always thought.

The Playmates Toys Amazon Exclusive Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Classic Technodrome Playset is currently available for pre-order on Amazon and is listed as their exclusive. The cost is $79.99. There are still no images or specific details about this set listed on the site. Also note while it say temporarily out of stock it currently still allows you to add it to your cart and check out.

The assumption which is not confirmed at this time is that this set is a re-issue of the original Technodrome Playset released by Playmates Toy back in the day. When more details become available we will let you know. The image below of the original playset is for reference only

This playset is one of my favorites from childhood and while I don't really collect tmnt anymore I got to get this. As a kid I found the original in a thrift store! I have the vintage one complete but I want this reissue for the box alone, $80 sounds like a steal to me.

Thats the question. When they rereleased the Original Party Wagon the design was almost identical to the vintage, however when they re-issue the Original Turtle Blimp it was an entire new mold, in fact it was smaller than the original which many fans disliked.

Some people online is already making comparisons with the original vintage and apparently this new version is about an inch and a half smaller.

I never had the original Technodrome.

I pre-ordered this the second I found out it was available.

I’ve already put together the original sewer lair playset bit by bit off E-bay

And I always wanted to have and connect the two playsets together since I was a kid so if there has been changes made to this reissue…

I hope that it is still at least compatible with the original sewer pipes!

So it IS smaller.  I got that sense from the promo pics and it kind of talked me out of it.  I was jealous of my cousin's original growing up, but even then I felt it was a little undersized.

Maaaan I wish I bought my friends complete for 150 original. He sold it for 2 and change but was giving me the friend deal. I still have mine from when I was a kid but it turned Super Nintendo color from years in the attic ….. depressing. Think I’ll cancel one of my 2 pre orders. Why didn’t they just do exact replica!?

If this drops to 50 I'll definitely buy

Not even at that price, for me.  Looking at comparisons it really is a pale shadow of the original.  They cut a few too many corners with this one, and the figures just don't properly fit with a lot of the features.  But that's me, my collection is perfectly fine without it.  Originally, I was really looking forward to this, sadly.
