ToyFarce News: Inventor of Tiered Spice Rack Confused Why Collectors Put Toys on Them!

Spicerack.jpgLast week, ToyFarce sat down with Frederick Spicerack, the inventor of the 3-tier spice rack, to talk about how his invention is more and more being used by toy collector on their shelves, in order to improve their display. Unfortunately, it seems he wasn't aware of that...

About the 3-tier spice rack: "It is a great feeling to know that my invention helped countless numbers of people have a place for their spices, jars and bottles of oils in their kitchen, displayed in a way that they can see what they need quickly when they are cooking. You need a bit of olive oil or a bit of black pepper? Just look at your 3-tier spice rack, with a quick glance, you can see what's there, where it is, and easily grab it. Some people even put jars of mustard on it! It's marvellous."

About the design: "I decided to go with plain white, but also added grey non-slip rubber on the steps, so that your spices will remain in place. It was worth going the extra mile for this."

After learning that collectors buy them to display action figures: "What? But... they're for spices! That doesn't make any sense... Do they put toys on them next to their spices then? No? Do they put toys on them, in order to reserve a spot for the spices later, then? This is not what this is intended for... I should have listened to the inventor of the Detolf glass cabinet... He had warned me about this..."

We, at ToyFarce, personally prefer using clear acrylic steps for our figures, just in case Mister Spicerack decides to implement changes to his invention that would prevent toys to be displayed on them.

More news at 11:00... "Do they at least display those toys on it in their kitchen?"
