I bet  the red flashing light electronics is why that price.

In that case, I'll wait for it to be repurposed as a Cylon-inspired Transformer.

Still perplexed why he's named Agent Knight instead of KITT.

It probably has to do with the complicated trademarks and licensing around KITT and Knight Rider.

Yeah, makes sense to be the reason. It just feels odd with that name.

I like the idea of this, but I'm not sure I can be dropping $50 on a "deluxe" sized figure (a term I've always rebelled against, since it's the standard/basic size at this point).

Judging by the pics I've seen with a few other figures, it looks like it's a Voyager class.

I can't see them getting all the electronics into a deluxe size.  I know that sort of thing has gotten smaller and smaller over the years but there just isn't much room in a deluxe for the transformation AND the lights and sounds.  I'd imagine a voyager, if not larger.

It could be a large deluxe. Comparing legacy deluxe cybertron hotshot to voyager overdrive they are about the same size. And there are some deluxe that also skew a but bigger. Looks kinda like a reuse of prowl and company.

Very true.  I wonder if they'll give us a side-by-side comparison or at least something to give us a sense of scale before the pre-order goes up.

In the video we've got up here on tformers that shows off the light up effect, it's clearly just a bit longer than the hand of the gal who is demoing it. And for robot mode there's pics elsewhere of him side by side with the Vector Prime figure from the Legacy United line where he's just a tad shorter than VP. Up to his shoulder pad pretty much.

I also just checked the length of Dead End on Menasor (which means he's in arm form, so vehicle body is extended out) & he's about the length of my hand from fingertip to heel of palm. Voyager definitely sounds right for how big Agent Knight here will be.

Thanks for the info.  I missed the video.  Have they posted a price?  Last I heard the rumor was 49.99 but nothing concrete.
