Four Horsemen Mythic Legions: The First 10 Years Book Announcement

Recommended Posts

The Four Horsemen have announced that they are working on a visual guide for Mythic Legions, called Mythic Legions: The First 10 Years and it will cover the first 10 years of Mythic Legions releases. No ordering information yet but as always stay tuned!

While we are hard to a work on the “Rise of the Dark Four, Volume 1” book which will tell the first major story arc for Mythic Legions, we have also secretly been moving ahead with a second book which is tentatively titled - “Mythic Legions: The First 10 Years”.
This book will be a visual encyclopedia of the first decade of releases for the Mythic Legions line. It covers all of the releases made as part of that first major story arc, starting with the first Kickstarter-backed wave and ending with....well, you’ll have to wait and see where it ends.

Besides a page for each figure in the line, including multiple photos and an accessory image - all shot by onesix_shooter, each figure page will include their bio and any interesting “behind the scenes” information that can be shared on that figure. Much of this information is already on our website, but we’ve had plenty of requests to get it into book form, and we have intended to do so for years. The 10-year anniversary of the line is the perfect chance make that happen!

In addition to the focus on the figures, each wave released will also have pages dedicated to them, with interesting historical context and photos.
As if that wasn’t enough (we are expecting this to be a good sized hardcover volume of around 350 pages or so), we will also be adding content on special topics important to Legions, like test shots, Gcon, LegionsCon, and much more.

The images seen in this post are some of the “in progress pages” we revealed at Muskecon.

While we do not have a release dates for this book or pricing, we can tell you that our goal is to be able to offer it for preorder later this year. Stay tuned for more details on this book as we get closer to publication date. In the meantime, enjoy a peek at what we showcased at Muskecon!
