Wondercon 2024 Hasbro Toy Panel: Action Brands - G.I. Joe Classified, More News March 30th

Convention 2024 season kicksoff with news of the first official Hasbro panel coming to us on March 30th from 3-4 PM PST at WonderCon 2024 in Anaheim, CA. Not sure what / if we will hear about but Transformers and other Hasbro brands are mentioned in the panel details below. Stay tuned to Tformers for all the news and updates has they happen.

Hasbro hosts an action-packed toy panel with brand marketing team members revealing exciting new products, giving fans a first look across its iconic action brands. The panel will include select product reveals from Ghostbusters entertainment, celebrate the 40th anniversary of Transformers with new Studio Series figures, and announce new Cobra team members joining the G.I. JOE Classified Series line. In addition, the panel will bring updates on the Hasbro lines inspired by Star Wars, including The Black Series and The Vintage Collection, and Marvel, including exciting news about the Marvel Legends product line.

Excited to see what Hasbro has in store, especially for the 40th Anniversary of the Transformers!! Hopeful that we'll see new products from Transformers and Legends.

Today Hasbro is holding a panel at WonderCon and for G.I. Joe Classified they revealed Retro Cardback Beachhead, Cobra Eel and Snow Serpent. Pre-Order wiill open on April 4th at places like BBTS and Entertainment Earth. Also the Cobra Ferret and Scout which will be a Pulse exclusive going up that same day.

They also announced Once A Man Cobra Commander will be coming to the Classified line.

Today Hasbro is holding a panel at WonderCon and for Ghostbusters they revealed 1:18 Scale 1984 Ecto 1 and doing 3 3/4" O-ring Ghostbuster figures. The 4 from the original movie. Pre-Orders will happen on June 8th. The figures will be a 4-pack that costs around $44. More details to come soon.

No Plasma Series figures being announced.

There will be a Hasbro meet and greet event at 8pm ET where we will get better images for most of this stuff.

Hoping the Was A Man Cobra Commander either comes with a battle armor version or even a Roadblock V2.

I'm sure it will come but likely Hasbro is gonna pace it out some from the release of the one in the HISS tank. I would not expect to see a mainline release of CC on Reto Cardback at least until next year.

That's just staggering if true. We will have gone 5 years into this line without getting the most important villain character wearing anything resembling his actual outfit (and the HISS tank version is hardly a substitute given the unbelievable prices it goes for on secondary markets).

So... Hasbro stopped making O-ring G.I. Joe figures, allowing Super7 to take over that part of the toyline, but then they decide to make G.I. Joe styled O-Ring Ghostbusters?
