I couldn't be happy to share new news that in fall 2024, JAKKS will be launching an extensive product line dedicated to The Simpsons. As The Simpsons is well into its record-breaking 35th season this fall, it continues to be one the most popular series on both Fox and Disney Plus.

The upcoming toy line is poised to inject even more excitement and joy into this cherished franchise, catering to fans of all ages with this diverse and engaging offerings. The toy line will feature a wide range of beloved caricatures from the show available in various forms such as basic, deluxe, and premium collector figures, playsets, and plush toys, along with items like advent calendars and other fun and creative toys inspired by the show's rich history.

As you might imagine, our action play and collectibles team has been having a tremendous time brainstorming the plethora of product opportunities that this show represents. And we are honored as a company to be trusted with such an iconic franchise.
As I said at the beginning, we had a very busy quarter. But with the end of the year in sight, it is also extremely gratifying to see us lined up for completing another really successful year here at JAKKS while still seeing great opportunities for sustained growth in the new year to come.

An intelligent thing to do is to make sure these scale with the old Springfield line. The playsets appear to be exactly like the old sets from that line. If all this is true then this could become one of the all time great lines provided they go as deep and deeper than Springfield.

It's a shame he's so depressed about it.  Perhaps someday he will know happiness again, god willing.

In the meantime, I hope they learn their lessons from Super7's missteps and manage to go far with the line.  Gimme all the weirdness you can, but keep the line alive while you do it.

Wonder if this is why super7 got dropped.

I would imagine, likely Jakks just got the master License to produce all product, since it seems they are doing multiple scales and such, which would have seen Super7 out the door.

Honestly I gotta say Jakks looks like they are already handling this IP better then S7, they are doing this right, The Big characters coming out first, collectors can pick though options of what scale they want, things like that Family pack is exact;ly what a line should start with, plus no wacky obscure characters yet, good starting line up here.

I think I might just start collecting this line once it comes out, I gotta say they look pretty snappy.

Loving what I am seeing so far. Jakks did a great job with the Nintendo and Sonic stuff and this is right up my ally in terms of scale, price point and design. Super7 thought long term and forgot about the short term. Reason I didn't bother picking up any of their stuff. Give me access to the family, couch, and then let me decide how easy/hard it is to collect the other characters and variations.

Yes, I want some of those 5'' figures, mainly Homer and Marge to go with my lil collection I have already from the 90's need Homer and Marge to complete the family since I never got them as a kid, because as a kid I thought they were lame and only wanted the children, but I might get some of the other characters Itchy & Scratchy would be cool.

Oh man, these are so tempting at $13 each. I'll have to put a list together of characters I would really want to figure out how much of a financial rabbit hole I'd be jumping into. I don't think I could limit myself to just the family. But there are so many secondary characters to get. Seeing them in person at Target will help inform my decision.

Thanks for clearing that up because I was legit confused. So the 2.5" is the one with the house and then there's these thanks!

As we move from summer to winter, there is really a lot of figure news coming one after another. Setting a budget seems like it will become very difficult.

Jakks Pacific is a toy company that does good work. The more varieties and licenses increase, the better it will be for us collectors.

Although large companies such as Mattel and Hasbro were comfortable in obtaining licenses, they did not make major breakthroughs in game figures and TV series figures. The international distribution network of these companies is actually very good.

I hope everyone can buy the toys they want and like.

The shine on these seems a little severe. Anyone with them in hand seeing that?

I had the same concern before I picked one up. It's definitely not as bad in person as in many of the promo photos. Still a bit shiny though.
