Great news, was waiting for news on this. I'm thinking that maybe initially that this was going to be a Target exclusive but they likely declined to carry it as other exclusives didn't sell as well. This is just me speculating but other deluxe style figures were exclusive to Target so makes sense.

Will definitely be in on Snout Spout as he does look fantastic. Likely be around $35-$40.

Not as cool looking as the Neca staction but not bad at all. Always thought the vintage figure was lame & goofy but wouldn't mind owning this.

Extra cool points for the Frazetta Death Dealer homage on the the box art.

Always remember getting him, Ninjor and Rio Blast one Easter as a kid, which blew me away because Easter was not typically a day I expected to get anything outside of candy.  Obviously he was the least cool of the three, and I was always annoyed you couldn't really turn his head, or angle his trunk very much because of the squirt gun wire inside, but I still loved him.   Definitely grabbing this once it releases, kinda cool that he's a bit oversized.

I'm all in for this drop. Does anyone know if they will be making this for the Origins line?

Origins Snout Spout already came out.  Shouldn't be too hard to get.

That was a sweet Easter haul.

Yeah, I'm in for this guy. Not crazy about him being a Mattel Creations exclusive because that means he'll be more like $40-$45 shipped, but whatever.

My one regret is how poorly I took care of those Ninjor soft goods.  Loooooonng gone.  Doubt they lasted a week.  He did have a sweet headsculpt underneath though, one of my favorites in the line.  Wish the Origins one had released with an alternate head.

Picked him up, but I hope they're not moving other Creations Masterverse figures up to that price point.  I don't feel like paying $40 after shipping for every figure they release.  I guess he's a little bigger than average, though the comparison pic with Man at Arms and Mekaneck doesn't really make it look like there's much of a difference, and it's not like he's kitted out with a bunch of accessories.  That box is a thing of beauty though, LOL.

I was able to preorder this figure after so much hesitation and leaving it for hours in my cart... I checked again after a few hours and said if it's not sold out then I will order two and in fact it didn't sell out so I bought them... Yes it's shipping already. 😀👍💡😁

Shown below are in-hand images for the new Masters of the Universe Masterverse Snout Spout figure from Mattel which is available and shipping from the MattelCreations website.

I think Mattel has done a pretty solid job with this figure. In particular I love the headsculpt with the 5 points of articulation trunk and you can also move the ears and tusks which is nice. The eyes have light pipping in them. They look red without light on them and yellow with the light.

The figure doesn't have actual water spouting capabilities but it does come with a translucent water effect piece you can attach to the end of the trunk or even on the top of the axe he comes with. The backpack uses red plastic that match the shoulder pads and has three clear and blue plastic water canisters sculpted on the back of it. There is also a place to store the Axe on the side of the backpack if you don't want the figure holding it. There is a hose that attaches from the top of the figures head to the top of the backpack and then two longer hoses that attach to the bottom to the backback that go around to the front of the figures belt. All the hoses are removable. On the belt their is a moving water dial which is a nice added touch. The figure also includes two pairs of hand, grip hands and close fisted ones.

My only minor complaint with the figure is I wish they had toned down the colors on the figures glove more in keeping with the Classics or 200x versions. Otherwise I consider this to be a near perfect representation of the character in modern form and while it will run you $33 plus s/h which for me was about $40, I am more than happy to be adding it to my collection.
