Mattel Masters of the Universe Origins Walmart Exclusive Lord Grasp and Terroar Figures

These 2 were very different to get in the Classics line being convention exclusives. So glad Mattel is giving us the opportunity to get these here in the Origins line but to make these Walmart exclusive figures is just awful. Walmart has been the worst when it comes to availability and if you get lucky and get an order in then having them shipping these collector figures in bubble mailers and having the boxes completely crushed.

Would of rather had these exclusives be Target or Amazon but Mattel has to do what do have to do to get these out I guess 🤦

Walmart exclusive... Godspeed to us all.  Even if we all get our pre-orders in, 75% chance Walmart cancels them anyway.  I feel like at some point they're going to find themselves in a class-action for eliciting pre-orders that they never actually honor.  If that day ever comes, I'm there front and center.

Their exclusives are easy to get. Moss Man is literally everywhere. It isnt 2021-22 anymore.

This is like saying Retro Crimson Guard is easy to get because Retro Baroness and Lady Jaye are everywhere.

As with anything, it depends on the line, on how quickly that line cycles, and on the figure itself.  If the pegs are still packed with 2 year old product (VERY much the case with MOTU) a lot of stores don't bother ordering additional stock.  Even if we're talking about new figures.  There's a reason we didn't see a lot of wave 13 and on making their way to the pegs.

Moss Man in turn has its own unique SKU, making it a different product in their eyes.  General MOTU though, where multiple items line up under one SKU?  That's the deathblow for trying to get new figures.  We'll see what happens here, but since they look like they're going to be straightforward Deluxe figures, stores are probably going to ask themselves "Hey, did we ever sell the 60 Snout Spouts and Leechs that have been choking the pegs for the last few years?  No?  Ok, I guess we don't need any more of this product, then."

Anyway, I was mostly commenting on Walmart's inability to honor pre-orders, which they regularly cancel.

It hurts me to know these are going to be Walmart exclusives, I have not seen a new MOTUO figure at Walmart since who knows when, the last few waves pegwarmed and got clearanced, so they gave up on this line in Canada, it was spotty at best to see certain waves even when the figures were in full swing, I really want these 2 figures, like my my do they look sweet, I always wanted to see these guys in Origins form, but the Exclusiveness makes me so bummed, we still don't even have Moss Man here, doubt we ever will at this point, so that makes me just so worried about how hard it will be to get these. Would have probably has a better chance to get these if they were Mattelcreations.

Really hope all these collector con figures aren’t too tough to grab. I really want Terroar & Lord Grasp as well as Necro Conda and the tmnt/motu ones.

Ugh as I suspected Walmart fumbling it up here in Canada and these never went up, it's a huge joke, thanks Fallmart, I really really was so excited to get these figures, but looks like as of now I won't be until they go up as Ebay wallet breaker scalper backed exclusives, I really can't stand how poorly handled this collector con thing is here in Canada. *screams into pillow*

I was able to get both and the tmnt crossover figures with no trouble at all. Thought they’d handled it well until I got in social and saw how many people missed out. Hopefully they make more available.
