Super7 Announces Kull the Conquerer & Conan the Barbarian License

Interesting... I'm a movie fan but I have to see what's is this about.

I imagine these are based on the origional stories and not the movies.

Oh please please be Comic based, as much as I don't like the Super7 prices, Comic Kull & Conan Ultimates might be really hard to pass up on, really want to see what they offer us here, if it's more Movie stuff, well nah, but Comic..ohh could be sweet.

A logical assumption. They already made a bunch of Conan the Barbarian movie figures.

They made a Barry Windsor Smith comic conan early in the ultimates line. I was really hoping they were going to follow that with a John Buscema Conan. So maybe that's in the cards this time. That'd definitely be an instant purchase for me.

I think they used comic book logos to hint at comic book based looks, even if they won't be 1 to 1 comics they will be likely close enough or so called "inspired" by comics. I just hope these won't be simplistic and shiny/plasticy figures but rather something that has decent finish and good paint apps.

Oh I totally forgot about that one, I remember it not really being the Conan I was wanting, so heres to hoping for a classic comic Conan.

My best bet is Ultimates, because of the elbow position in the figure...

Yeah probably ultimates. The motuc buck they use for Conan, when seen from the side, is pretty shallow. That's what it looks like here.

Look ok to me, though I really wish Boss Fight would make a Comic Conan to go with their 1/12 Red Sonja figure they are making, Im getting kind of tired of the MOTU Classics bodies from super 7 by now
