I had several of these (missing Ray I believe). They were a fun idea and it was cool to see the somewhat different outfits. I remember getting the Winston first and I immediately snapped off his left arm because there is a bit of torque with his head-spinning thing - hold the body! I did sort of fix it though and it worked well enough. The weapons are a bit weriid for ghost catching as they all have a physical element (and proton blasters to the side), but the mini-ghosts are cool.

My cousin had all of these.  I remember that Egon's tie did not last very long.  It did add an interesting element to things, partially squeezing the arm to make their mouths open and close whenever we had them "talking".  Which is an interesting play feature for action figures that no one ever really capitalized on, thinking about it.

If I was ever to get these, I'd only consider Ray, since he kind of looks like he's wearing normal Ghostbusters jumpsuit, just unzipped.

RobertD: I like the idea of using the gimmick to make it look like they are talking.  I think I recalled back in Grade 2 or 3, some kids were doing it with their Fright Features Ghostbusters figures.

I do hope that Hasbro will consider doing some of the other Ghostbusters variants down the road, like Slime Heroes, Power Packs, or even the Ecto-Glows(Which were only released in the U.K. as far as I know, never in North America).  And that they do both Jennine and Louis from their respective sublines as well.  Or even, just do normal versions with proton packs, such as Jennine in her Pink Suit, and Louis in a Green Suit.

I def had 2 of these as a kid, Peter and Egon, actually gave Peter to a friend a few years ago, and Egon I sold like 15 years ago, I actually always found these kinda bad, even as a kid didn't really love them, The variants I really liked were the Ecto Glow, now those would be fun to see them re-release.

wonder if we will ever see them re-release The Monsters figures, would love to get my hands on a Wolfman again.

Dang, this definitely needs. Reissue

Even if I wouldn't get this version of Janine myself, I agree too, just for those who want to complete their Fight Features collection.

Hasbro Global Brand Marketing Manager Emily Bader, took to Reddit too announce that the Hasbro’s Real Ghostbusters Fright Features Kenner Classics Figures will be exclusive to Target Stores until the month of April and will not be available online from Target. After that time they will be available at other retailers such as our sponsors BigBadToyStore.com and Entertainment Earth if they choose to carry them.

“Hi everyone! Emily from Hasbro here. Wanted to quickly send out an update to the community that the new Hasbro Fright Features figures are exclusively available in Target stores (so not listed online) until the beginning of April, at which point they will also be available at other retailers and online. As always, thank you for your continued support!”

I don't know why target gets as many exclusives as it dies. Considering Target evidently fails miserably at making products like this easy to obtain, Is somebody at target bribing someone at hasbro or blowing them.

I agree.  Mattel WWE Exclusives are annoying as well.

I'll say this, and I'm sure everyone has their own experiences, but I find Target exclusives 1000x easier to get than Wal-Mart ones, and I have multiples of each store in easy driving distance.  Incidentally, saw a bunch of the Venkmans on the peg this past weekend.  I don't think they'd put out any of the others yet, but there were 6 or 7 of him.

I don't have a Target within an hour and half drive.  When I order online it either gets cancelled at 4 am or delayed.  So for me it's all hard to get.  I just paid $35 for Black Widow on Amazon in. hopes it's not a swap so I can finally have that figure.

I've got my fingers crossed for you.  I'll say the same still holds true for online ordering when it comes to Walmart vs Target, though.  It's not perfect, but *usually* what I order from Target will eventually get delivered (they screwed me over on those Tracksuit Mafia figs, though) but with Walmart the preorders either get cancelled outright (EVERY WWE Superstar fig I've ever ordered) get pushed to the bottom of the pecking order (G.I. Joe Cardbacks came in-stock and they still never fulfilled the preorder from their Collector Con, did a separate order to finally get some, but that original order remains open) and worst of all they allow scalpers to outright sell their exclusives on their own site at triple the price, often on the same-day as the preorders get listed.

I really hate how Walmart does... virtually everything, is what I'm getting at.

I've never gotten one WWE Pre-order from Walmart LOL.  Not one.  Joes I've gotten.....but my WWE is always cancelled or wrong.  My AEW Supreme CM Punk was 2 Kenny Omegas.  I returned them and got 2 Cody Rhodes as the replacements.

Looks like both EE and BBTS pulled their pre-orders, likely due to Target having the exclusive on them until April.

Going to now add, that since there are recent pics from Frozen Empire with Janine in a Ghostbusters suit, then I would argue having Fright Feature Janine re-release would make even more sense.  Maybe if they do another wave of Kenner Retro Re-issue figures, or a new/update cased of the Fright Features(Depending on how this Retro line does this year to begin with).
