This is the kind of thing that bugs me most with Toddy McFarlane. This is the body buck they should have used on the superman returns figure. Get your **** together Toddy.

What a terrible facial expression.  I thought I was done with Superman after the two pack re-released the Action Comics version but I might have to pick this one up for the buck.

If he only changed the belt and got rid of the cuffs at the end of the sleeves he'd be perfect

I get on McFarlane's case a lot for things they could (and should) do better. Gotta give 'em credit on this one. There are some significant improvements in the figure, such as a the musculature in the legs that actually looks human (vs some of the Batman and Robin figs, for example). And proportions from this shot look pretty darned good.

It looks like the Page Puncher Superman.  I've been hoping it would get a repaint in brighter colors so I'm pretty happy with this.

I think i might be the only person that finds this version of Supes so boring. That's ok, to each their own. An ideal Superman figure for my tastes is the Neca Superman from the DC/Darkhorse set.

Todd REFUSES to do an actual classic Superman and I don't know why, it's frustrating. Superman is my favourite character.

There is nothing about that belt, boots, or cuffs that is classic and I doubt very seriously the yellow shield is on the cape.

I'd love an articulated line of figures based on that Garcia Lopez artwork.

I don't even feel like this is the "Classic" one, it's almost there, but it's missing the mark, also that face is way too happy to be here face, Todd just can't actually do Classic, it's always a sorta, I almost did it thing, but like relax on the superman's and Batman's we get it you like them, they make money, take a breather fill out the line with cool other characters and then come back and try classic...it's just not it, and can anyone keep track of the 40th Superman in this line at this point...snoozer bra

It's too bad he didn't do this figure after the crisis wave cause that ones body would be better for a classic Superman.
