Channeling the magic of Etheria, the Sword of Protection allows Princess Adora, Prince Adam’s Twin Sister, to transform into She-Ra, The Princess of Power, when she exclaims ‘For the honor of Grayskull!’

Cloned from He-Man’s Sword of Power, the secret to the Sword of Protection's abilities is the mysterious jewel embedded within its hilt.

This officially licensed 39-inch long Sword of Protection prop replica features a full-tang blade crafted from stainless steel with a mirror-chrome finish. Adding realism to this iconic sword, the metal guard features an antique foundry finish and a simulated jewel, and the handle is wrapped in white leather.

Each Sword of Protection replica is supplied in a full-color collector box and comes with a wall-hanging display plaque and certificate of authenticity. You can pre-order this now from our sponsor BigBadToyStore.com.

I'm a little confused why they put a grip on the sword when it doesn't have one in the cartoon (or in any of the toy versions of the sword).  Do they expect people to wield it in battle?  Surely this is more of a display piece than something you "play" with.

Regardless of what it's actually intended for, there's always going to be people who swing prop swords around the house.

True.  But for the other 99% of the time, the white grip really throws off the look of the sword.

It's probably for liability reasons.
