It's October (aka Halloween month) *AND* we're getting a Friday the 13th during that month? You know what that means... Today's news will have to be related to our friend from Camp Crystal Lake, Jason Voorhees! We have been pretty spoiled when it comes to Jason action figures, but it seems that we're always missing that special one from everyone's favorite movie of the franchise... maybe not for long?

Jason X, the 10th movie of the Friday the 13th franchise, is one of those cult classic, fan favorite movies, that clearly the favorite of the franchise for at least 8 people. It happens in the future, in space, Jason is somewhat resurrected and upgraded into a behemoth 'Uber Jason', and gets back to his old habits of killing everybody. ToyFarce managed to find leaked pics, after making them up:

With New York Comic Con ongoing this weekend, NECA being present there *AND* today being Friday, the 13th, it seems like all the stars aligned and we are ready to get a reveal of the long awaited Jason X Uber Jason Voorhees ultimate action figure, RIGHT? They could even reveal it on 'X' (fka Twitter) for that special final touch!

I love this site and marvelous news, I check both sites multiple times a day.

 

But I find it kind of insulting that you usually don't even post action figure reviews on time, sometimes months after the figures come out, yet you have time to make these joke articles. Especially because it tricks the eye it makes you think it's real, so for a brief moment I really thought there was a Jason x figure coming. If it were me I would focus on actual action figure news. Just food for thought.

There's nothing wrong with having a little fun on the site... I like the silly articles.
