On November 17, 2023, Plymouth, Massachusetts, the birthplace of Thanksgiving, is struck by terror when a mysterious killer inspired by the holiday starts attacking people, following a tragic Black Friday riot.

The movie is directed by Eli Roth and written by Jeff Rendell, with a story by Eli Roth and Jeff Rendell. The film is produced by Eli Roth, Roger Birnbaum, and Jeff Rendell, with executive producers Gary Barber, Peter Oillataguerre, Greg Denny, Kate Harrison Karman, and Chris Stone.

The cast includes Patrick Dempsey, Addison Rae, Milo Manheim, Jalen Thomas Brooks, Nell Verlaque, Rick Hoffman, and Gina Gershon.

Sony's TriStar Pictures and Roth are bringing back the infamous John Carver in a sequel to the highly successful film that earned $30 million worldwide within its first two weeks of release. The sequel will be released theatrically worldwide by TriStar Pictures in 2025.

Roth, along with Jeff Rendell, developed the story based on their childhood experiences of watching slasher films during Thanksgiving. This concept was initially featured as one of the fake movie trailers in the 2007 cult film Grindhouse, directed by Robert Rodriguez and Quentin Tarantino. Roth has long expressed his desire to turn it into a full-length feature, showcasing Carver's gruesome acts during the Thanksgiving holiday in Plymouth, MA.

The film was directed and produced by Roth, Roger Birnbaum, and Rendell. It starred Patrick Dempsey, Addison Rae, Milo Manheim, Jalen Thomas Brooks, and Nell Verlaque, along with Rick Hoffman, Gina Gershon, and Tim Dillon.
