Loathe? That seems strong. Why the intense dislike?  I've always just viewed them as rehashes of the original line with better articulation. Which is nice for someone like me who had so many of the originals, but completely missing key characters.  Generally speaking, I dig them, but I'm curious about your perspective.

I'm not the market for them, even though I grew up with this style.  I don't like rehashes of older looking toys.  Which is why things like Classified and Masterverse appeal to me.  I like classic looks but redone and modernized.  Super7 LJN Thundercats are a perfect example of something I would consider buying.  I had all these older toys and still do.  I'm glad they are there for people who do want them but I got a few of them when they first came out and just didn't want the squatty look anymore.  I'm more of a Marvel Legends,  DC Multiverse, MOTU Classics, GI Joe Classified and Star Wars Black Series fan.  I hope that makes sense?

Oh yeah, I get it. Everyone's got their own aesthetic preferences.  Was just curious.

I actually going to buy these Filmation MOTU figures... I have ALL the ones from Super 7 so these one from Mattel will match them nicely...

Filmation He Man looks amazing!!! Not a big Origins guy (prefer masterverse) but I will 100% be getting him. Probably the best origins figure yet imo

Definitely getting Beastman, he looks great. I like the Origins line quite a bit but, I'm primarily only interested in recreations (that's what I see them as) of figures from the '82-'84 period.

Not really.  Though if I recall correctly the parts seappability is supposed to be there for origins stuff.

I think that depends on the figure. I have the Masterverse He-Man (wave 1) and I put the head from the first Origins He-Man on it (after giving Origins He-Man the 80s head from Flying Fists He-Man), and it works great. I tried swapping Skeletor's head just to see how it looked, and that one looked terrible.

Cool that they are doing this, but I got no interest in Filmation style Origins, just regular Origins for me, these do look quite good for what they are though.
