Veebs from Fwoosh sat down with Super7's Brian Flynn and in the process of talking shop about Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles ULTIMATES...Brian has stated they will be doing figures based off the 2003 designs! More info will be coming this holiday season but as I understood it they will have a 2003 wave up for pre-order, followed by a wave of ULTIMATES continuing their current style of offerings and then another 2003 wave pre-oreder and so on!

Other notable notes are the next wave of Silverhawks is the Copper Kid with the Space Racer and Tigersharks are coming but not until 2025. Also no plans for Sesame Street ULTIMATES are planned but not ruled out in the future.

Man I need them not to skimp on accessories here.

Mikey needs his battle nexus trophy.

Raph needs his motorcycle helmet and the cat.

Shredder needs an utrom.

Splinter needs a tea set...

And that's just assuming they go with the standard turtles.

Gimme a Fast Forward Leo

Mystic fury Raphael

Paleo Donatello

Turtle titan Mikey

I could be in real trouble here.

I never watched this show, not one episode, I wasn't into this re-boot thing back in 03' wasn't checking for none of this, but as far as designs go they were not the worst, they had a cool edge to them, would actually be interested to see what Super7 could do with these looks in ultimate form, but probably wouldn't buy em, not for the price and the fact these series pretty much ment nothing to me, maybe I should watch it?

Dude, you should watch it! Some of the stuff in season one doesn't fully pay off till season five.  Rewatching with my wife and I'm impressed with just how well put together this was.

Anyway, I'm gonna try to start the dream speculation part here, because for me that's a lot of the fun.  Right now we've only been told about two waves.  But let's assume there are four.  One per turtle. Let's take it a step further and assume that each wave is tied to that turtle, with one figure that's just overall essential.

Wave 1:

   Leonardo

   Karai

   Ultimate Ninja

   Splinter

Wave 2:

   Donatello

   April

   Baxter Stockman

   Agent Bishop

Wave 3:

   Raphael

   Casey Jones

   Hun

   Inuyashi Gunjin

Wave 4:

   Michelangelo

   Sirling or Cody

   Leatherhead

   Shredder

I really struggled with wave four.

Watch it. It’s arguably the best Turtles show.

Nope,  not gonna let this one die.  So earlier I'd mentioned not skimping on accessories.  I've been thinking/dreaming here.  Honestly, I see them going cartoon accurate here.  And since these are the "Ultimate" versions of these...So with that in mind.

Every turtle has their basic get up and weapons.  They could also each include their season five specialty weapons.  They used those without glowing up.  It'd mean new armor and arms to get their fast forward versions as an option.  I doubt it happens but it's actually not that ridiculous a concept given how many accessories the toon silverhawks came with.

That's three weapons sets, and one armor change.  Maybe an extra head and I could make my peace with that.

I'd be mostly fine with that lineup, but you need Foot Soldiers in there somewhere.

So I got a question through to Kyle on podcast and he confirmed this is going the cartoon inspiration route.  There were also jokes about Hun being a detolf breaker due to weight.

Which will be great since I liked the cartoon and characters like Hun are on top of my list man...

In this months Veebs interview with Brian Flynn of Super7, it has been confirmed that the upcoming Super7 2003 Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles ULTIMATES Figures will INDEED have double jointed arms and knees! Pre-order should be going up mid June! Stay Tuned!
