This thing is pretty spectacular.  I will say that the tier one unlocks of a sword of omens and a cat claw are pretty lame unless I'm missing something about them.  I do like the lab set though.

I was watching this last night because it was so close. At 11:59PM when the timer ran out the number was actually about 2,993. It hit 3,000 at about 12:11AM. So they kinda gave backers a little leeway it seems.

The crowdsourcing campaign for Super7's ThunderCats Ultimate Cat's Lair has come to and end. The final number of backers for the campaign ended up being 4223 which means the Lair will move into production along with the early bird goal of the exclusive Key to Thundera and stretch goal #1 for the Lab Set which also features a Sword Of Omens and Claw Shield. The second stretch goal for the Astral Projection Lion-O Figure which would have been unlocked at 5k backers will NOT be included.

I'll tell you, it didn't stop me.  Had to wait to get the funds together, but this is one of those once-in-a-lifetime buys, I couldn't possibly pass it up.  The key meant absolutely nothing to me.  Not even mad about not getting the Lion-O figure.  I don't need it.  But I love this lair.  Knew I'd have to have it as soon as they revealed it was Ultimates scale.

Super happy for any/everyone that backed this. I really love Thundercats, but limited display space and other toy releases (the CHROME silverhawks coming out) make me weary to get another massive playset, although this one is probably the last time we will see something this grand for Thundercats. I'll just have to live vicariously through the reviews others will no doubt post.
