First G.I. Joe Classified Tunnel Rat Promo Image Hits The Internet

Recommended Posts

Thanks to a heads up from The Full Force Podcast, we have our first press image for Hasbro's upcoming G.I. Joe Classified Tunnel Rat figure. I am guessing this will be one of the two Classified figures that will be going up for pre-order tomorrow (6/14) at 1pm ET at places like our sponsors BigBadToyStore.com and Entertainment Earth.

One of the figures going up tomorrow will be a mainline release and the other should be a fan-channel one. You can also expect pre-orders to drop on June 21 and June 28. I don't know which specific figures will be going up but we should see 2 mainline figures and 1 Deluxe figure go up on June 21 and 2 mainline figures to go up for pre-order on June 28. When more details or images become available we will be sure to let you know.

Didn't expect the EEL, but if the leaks came from Canadian retailers as rumored, and EELs are an Amazon exclusive, it makes sense that wouldn't leak. I like it, but I wish it came with an SMG like Torpedo does.

Phew no interest in Desert Snake Eyes, it looks like one of those Snake Eyes Origins Kid's toys they did weirdo deco on, plus I don't buy more then 1 version of a single character, so Easy pass on that, However Tunnel Rat is a must and Eel, damn the Eel looks good.

That is an amazing look for SE. I was wondering the other day myself “Is he always wearing black? Wouldn’t that make him stand out in desert and snow environments?”. So this is really cool. It also shows a way for them to keep reusing certain bits and pieces while continuing their world building goals.

I was on the fence about Tunnel Rat after the render. I mean it looked cool but I kinda was thinking maybe I’d wait for a Renegades version with the jumpsuit… but this is beautiful and I may just jump it on sight.

Cobra Eel looks great and I may try to get it if it eventually makes it to Amazon Mx. Still waiting for Rock N Roll, Torpedo and Shipwreck.
